This is a place where you BETTER watch your card transactions.. I ordered just a chicken sandwich no mayonnaise. The employee asked if I wanted the combo . I stated no . My total I was told was $5.39 . At the window they were ready to hand me a drink. I told her I was only waiting on a sandwich.
I got the sandwich , asked for my receipt..suddenly NOBODY could provide it....not even the Mgr. Then she finally gave me one which was for a Visa numbers ending in some other than my MASTERCARD . Yes MASTERCARD see already not adding up. I checked my bank transactions. Well, well $9.06 pending charge. Hmm what my total was $5.39 . I turned around waited in the drive thru got the Mgr who some reason still had no way or idea how to pull up my receipt. She said she'd refund me then re ring it. Mysteriously she couldn't find the receipt in the system ...well, well talk about needing training or learning parts of your job and shes management. Lol what a joke she needs more Popeye ED apparently. She was so ingenious to not realize I told her the card on the receipt didn't match hence not my order. Before I die laughing from the pure embicilic actions she had .She gave me the difference in cash. How do you perform on a day to day with such vast knowledge...wow just wow!!! Poorest observation of management I've ever unpleasantly encountered. Who let you loose unaccompanied??
Patrons ...look at your receipts ...that sandwich is just barely worth $5 .....surely not worth $9 My time , gas wasted on such nonsense. The first employee I asked for my receipt was not giving me one for some reason . I think some funny food business is occurring .

The lobby was closed so we went through the drive through. I ordered blackened tenders and red beans and rice, my wife ordered the shrimp combo with slaw. From a rather rude individual, got to the window and asked for some sauces from the manager who acted like she couldn't be bothered as she was leaning on the counter on her cell phone texting or something. There was a line behind us and again the lobby was closed. We got our drinks and bag of food. Pulled over in the harbor freight parking lot and thought we were going to enjoy our popeyes meal but noooo I was given regular tenders which isn't keto at all and the red beans and rice was cold😡 no straws, no napkins and no sauces in the bag!🤨😡 my wife's slaw was warm! No spoon to eat it with anyway, her shrimp weren't but barely warm and were tough. My tenders were the same way! Very disappointing visit the whole $20 encounter was just a huge let down! When done right popeyes has very good food but not when the people who are working don't care about their work or the people they are feeding that pays them. I really wish I could give 0 stars for this visit, the oxford location is almost always setting the bar for their fresh food and great customer service! Read moreI had one of the worst fast food experiences at this Popeyes location. My brother and I ordered two Surf & Turf meals—one online and one at the drive-thru. When we got to the window, they only gave my brother his drink, took his money, and told us to pull forward. Assuming we were waiting on the shrimp, we parked and waited… and waited. Five minutes turned into ten, then thirty. Still no food.
We tried calling since they were clearly busy—no answer. After waiting another ten minutes, a worker finally came to the door and yelled from across the parking lot, asking what we were “missing.” We weren’t missing anything—we never got our food to begin with! After explaining our order again, she went back inside, and we waited another ten minutes, still with no food.
At this point, we had enough and went inside, only to find out our orders weren’t even being prepared. My brother had to hand over his receipt, and I had to explain my mobile order. One employee dressed in all black was finally able to locate and prepare both orders, but the rest of the staff seemed confused, lost, and honestly annoyed that we came inside after waiting over 30 minutes.
To be fair, the restaurant was clean, and the food itself was decent (though they forgot my cocktail sauce), but the service was beyond unorganized, slow, and unprofessional. The lack of communication and urgency was ridiculous. This location needs serious improvement in both customer service...
