Village Kitchen — Restaurant in Henderson

Village Kitchen is hands down one of the best local Chinese food spots around. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious with a wide variety of meals to choose from, so there’s always something for everyone. They’ve never once gotten my order wrong, which says a lot about how much care they put into their service.

I also really appreciate how they always make sure to include plenty of soy sauce and duck sauce without you even having to ask. Little details like that go a long way. The kitchen staff is polite, fast, and clearly hardworking, and the food comes out consistently great every time.

The girl who works (or used to work) the front counter is especially sweet and welcoming. She actually remembers customers by name, which makes the whole experience feel personal and community based instead of just another takeout stop.

Unfortunately, they still aren’t open for dine in since COVID, but even with that, the quality of food and service hasn’t dropped a bit. Whether it’s takeout or delivery, Village Kitchen continues to be reliable, friendly, and consistently excellent. Definitely a go to spot if you want great Chinese...

OK so I've done ate at every Chinese place here in Henderson, and so far village kitchen was my favorite, but after tonight idk if I can go back. They truly disgusted me! So I ordered 3 plates and of course mine was wrong. I called back up there and the lady told me to bring it back and they would replace it just give them 15-20 mins... Im like okay. Well I was already starving and now pissed off so I took maybe 4-5 bites out of that plate. When I get back there I straight up tell the lady honestly I was hungry and mad and took a couple of bites. She sighs and rolls her eyes opens the box then yells to the back we need another general chicken! Im like hold up are you telling me that you was bout to give that back out to someone? After I've done taken it home and had it for 30 mins!!! I bet anything they still aint throw that plate away and served it to someone. so if you went to village kitchen tonight and ordered the general chicken more than likely your eating...

They tried to rob us

We've ordered an item from them before and upon arriving at home we assumed they forgot to add it to the bag but they closed so we left it alone, ordered it again this week it's still not In the bag then the nice cashier says they don't sell that even though it's on the menu and we were charged for it each time, she went to find a way to get it for us by getting it next door yet the cooks yelled at her and wanted us to leave with no refund, luckily she informed them it was an online order so they proceed to yell at her and tell her to hurry up I feel we still overpaid for what we received but she tried her best.
