Reminds me of the Japanese restaurants I grew up with back in my homeland (colonized by the Japanese). The small shop was a perfect size for the vibe. Our waiter and the cooks: all Japanese. That got me excited but I had to dampen my expectations just to be sure I was neutral in the situation.

The waiter was super chill. He was wiping down some menus when we walked in. There were three other parties in the restaurant. The max occupancy in the restaurant space is approximately 22ish. He handed us a menu and gave us some time to order. One family by us was speaking Japanese and it was so cool to see the waiter interacting with them. It was just nostalgic for me.

We ordered the Ebisu Ramen, 5 piece gyoza, and chicken broth and shrimp wonton ramen. We waited about 10 minutes and the food was presented to our table. Oh, man. The umami in every bite was out of this world. It reminded me of the scene where the critic in the movie "Ratatouille" had a flashback after taking a bite of the ratatouille served to him. I felt like what I tasted was just like it was back home or when we were visiting Japan. The gyoza was simple. As it should be.

We demolished it all. The waiter asked if we wanted dessert and shared that they introduced a new one with brown sugar. As much as we would have loved to try it, we were totally stuffed to the brim. The serving size was perfect for one sitting and didn't allow for any waste.

Would we go back? Heck yeah! I mean, as you make it to the bottom of the bowl, it says, "see you tomorrow." Don't mind if I do!

Jokes aside, other posts complain about the prices, but I think it is rather reasonable for the quality of service and food served. This place is a hidden gem and I'm SO glad we live right down the street from here. We...

The ratings don't lie! It was as close to a perfect bowl of ramen you can get!

We ordered: Takoyaki Tebasaki wings Ebisu ramen with a side of garlic chili oil Cold ramen, with yuzu dressing, sub with thin noodles

The apps were solid. The wings are a must!! That sauce was too die for and it was so nice and crispy whilst being juicy inside. Takoyaki was deep fried which we prefer and had a good amount of sauce.

Now the highlight, the ramen was everything we wanted in a bowl. Broth was so flavorful, not super salt even to the last drop without being so heavy, which they made possible. Chashu was tender and good fat aeration, plenty of toppings as well! Amazingly executed!

The cold ramen wasn't our fav and probably wouldn't order it again. Noodles were a little too al dente for our liking but dressing was refreshing! Maybe it is better with the kale noodles but we opted for wheat noodles and that's on us, so I can't knock them off on that.

Service was impeccable from start to finish! The cute and polite server and waitress did everything in the front of the house herself even though it was a full house: answering phone calls, to-go orders, drinks, cleaning, everything and we still got great service!

Thank you for a pleasant experience, will definitely be back to try their other ramen offerings and love that we don't have to travel to Chinatown for a superb...

Title: A Flavorful Journey into Ramen Paradise!

Rating: ★★★★★

I recently had the pleasure of visiting [Ramen Shop Name], and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and tantalizing aromas instantly transported me to the bustling streets of Japan.

Let's talk about the star of the show: the ramen. Oh boy, where do I even begin? The menu offered an impressive variety of options, each more tempting than the last. I opted for their signature Tonkotsu ramen, and it was a revelation. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with umami flavors that danced on my taste buds. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings were fresh and thoughtfully chosen, adding a delightful textural contrast to the dish. It was a bowl of pure bliss!

The service at RamenEbisu was exceptional. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and even recommended some off-menu items that were absolute gems. Their warm and attentive nature made the dining experience all the...

I mean like, i’ve never had ramen that made me feel like my soul was cleansed. i feel spiritually clean. this ramen healed my broken heart. i’d go here every single day if i could (but i’d go deep into credit card debt). Maze Men tasted like a familiar Filipino dish Pancit Palabok, which gave me nostalgic thoughts and sent me back to childhood days like that one scene in Ratatouille. Goma Summer was a superior cold noodle. I’m normally not a fan of cold noodle however this sent me to the moon. It had such a satisfying cold taste, kinda like resting your head on the cold side of the pillow. It was also a number 1 recommendation by the owner. Spicy Tonkotsu was amazing. I ate a lot of spicy tonkotsu before, however this trumps all. Such a perfect mix of the spice and tonkotsu flavor, which many places fail to achieve. Karaage was actually perfect. It had the perfect crunch, the perfect tenderness, the perfect flavor. I’m surprised up until now I never experienced what good karaage was. The takoyaki is definitely the best in town as well. I could make 12 disappear in 2 minutes if given the opportunity. 10/10 would cry over the food here again
