I was in the move for break fast and lunch. First time eating at Ely's Restaurant. They offers a delightful breakfast and brunch experience that caters to a variety of tastes. I recently had the chance to try their strawberry pancakes, and they were a highlight—fluffy and generously topped with fresh strawberries, they provided a lovely sweetness that paired well with the syrup. The cinnamon roll French toast was another standout dish. It beautifully combined the flavors of classic cinnamon rolls with the texture of French toast, creating a rich and indulgent treat that felt like a warm hug on a plate. For something heartier, the steak and egg hash browns with biscuits did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection well done as always, my choice, and the hash browns had a satisfying crispiness that I smothered and catch up. The biscuits were soft and buttery, making them the perfect accompaniment to the dish which I ordered a side dish of extra gravy . I also tried the nachos Mexican style, which were a smorgasbord of flavors. Topped with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of cheese, they made for a great appetizer or shareable plate. The combination of textures and tastes was enjoyable and added a nice variety to the meal. Overall. I didn’t finish everything because I wanted to just try it out. Classic South Western American restuarant - a cuisine that consistently runs under the radar. Ely's has extensive menu that unconsciously blends mexican flavors with traditional country breakfast with excellent service for dine in, take out, or catering.

The breakfast combos run from classic Biscuits and Gravy or Country Fried steak through a mexi- scramble or chorizo and eggs to authentic Huevos Rancheros or Chilaquiles and eggs.

There are awesome skillets with bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, or steak. The omelets run from your classic American to full on Mexican flavors, and all things in between. Breakfast burritos? Of course. Any kind you want, including smothered in enchilada sauce. Simply genius. Red or green, the enchilada sauce is a do not miss. It's bright, crisp flavor sets Ely's apart.

There are good healthy options, but the pancakes, waffles, french toast, and crepes steal the show. Get any topping you can imagine including oreo.

Did I mention their burger and Fries? They have every style of burger, including a breakfast burger. And their fry selection is over the top, covered in anything you can imagine including Carne asada. They have chicken tenders and American favorite sandwiches and salads. Even a complete kids meal.

But they don't stop there. They have mexican entrees, deserts including shakes, and finally, last but not least Menudo and Pozole, Michigan style- the best.

Mood - Breakfast Cravings

I'll admit slowly but surely I'm being wooed into this breakfast lifestyle. I think now that my day starts at 4am it just has evolved and I can't fight it any longer. Lol plus a fed version of myself opposed to the hangry version is a win win any day.

Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. Menus were given and drink order was taken. You order, enjoy your food, then take you ticket to the front counter to pay.

Opted for the breakfast Combo with Carmel Ice Cream French Toast, Strawberry & Cream Cheese Waffle, orange juice and hot tea. Now I will admit I can see why this place has all of the rave reviews. Everything was delicious.

Interior is a great size. From the outside I didn't think it was this big but it can def accommodate alot of ppl. Everything was clean. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend- pricing for the portions and quality was reasonable. The customer service was courteous and hospitable. We have already plotted our journey back to try more items.
