Moe's Reviews May 29th, 2024 Wednesday
Aint this a shame, & I absolutely love taco Wednesday at robertos I've been coming to this robertos for the past 6 months, it's seems they don't like it when you don't tip but I even tipped extra and they still did me dirty with these tacos, what a shame indeed.
I asked for no lettuce or cheese because sometimes there produce is just sitting out not covered by the top metallic covering to keep it fresh, if there was a Don Tor Taco closer I'd much rather go there at least I'm dealing with quality not some bad attitude to go with my food, thanks Robertos for ruining taco Wednesday for me.
The young women who work there do excellent job, so do the young men who work at night they give great service and energetic experience, so it's not just some quiet place with no connections involved.
It's usually the older men in the morning who I can tell lives are hell who don't even want to be there with a messy kitchen, watered down salsa and no satisfying welcoming gesture. It's like they don't even want a reoccurring customer. Sad to see.
Maybe hiring some Americans with Spanish backgrounds might be the future for these types of places.
If I'm eating here, I'd like to build that loyal customer to restaurant experience, especially if I tip you with money that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't know why I go here. I know better.the food is terrible, the hard tacos jack your entire mouth up like chewing lava rock I got shredded beef that came from a cow that was surely suffering from extreme dehydration it was so dry. shredded beef? More like shredded teef, Adobada burrito looks wet when u bite it but tastes dry. How is that possible? Seems scientifically impossible but these guys accomplished that. Dont even get me started on the salsa. I mean where do you find chilles and tomatoes that have no flavor? The prices are terrible too. dont waste the 3+ dollars on those mouth murdering tacos. I think it was like 9 bucks for the Adobada burrito. The wifey had rolled chicken tacos dont let it fool you guys. These things are still tacos I mean at least they dont call them taquitos because these "tacos" annihilate your teeth. Have u ever straight up bit a jolly rancher? Yeah just like that. There are way better options out there. Dont fall for Don Tortoxic either it's Roberto's in disguise they are the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were absolutely hungry from long day at appointments and couldn't wait any longer to get something to eat. This was our last stop before a long stretch of road with no stops. We went into Roberto's and were pleasantly surprised! The staff were warm and welcoming, the entire restaurant was clean, even smelled clean and the food we ordered was not only made fresh, made to order, it tasted AMAZING! Mt husband got his typical Carne Asada burrito and let me tell you, the flavor really packed a punch and the meat was so tender! He wasn't able to finish it all and tool the rest home. I see on the menu the chicken taco special (on Wednesday's) and decided ok that's a great deal, and I ordered four! Thinking they would be street taco size, they were not small! I had 4 regular size tacos! I laughed and proceeded to eat 2 of them and took the other 2 home! They were absolutely delicious and they say it's a 100 year old family recipe for their...
