BEWARE: FOOD POISONING
I was craving Italian food all day, and trying to figure out a place to eat I finally decided upon Sunset Pizzeria. Of course, I should have ordered pizza instead of pasta at a pizza parlor, but regardless I awoke around 10 hours later at about 4:30am running to my toilet and continuing to throw up in the most miserable few minutes of my life, body broke out into a sweat, and 5 minutes later I'm back in bed. I awoke the next morning still feeling horrible the entire day, that I decide to take the food back to them and demand my money back as I do not pay for food that makes me sick!
I have not been sick since I was younger, and I am a light eater, and I literally did not eat anything the entire day except for a bagel in the morning which I always eat.. Naturally when I was throwing up the bagel was long past, and it was only my spaghetti.
Coming back to the place the owner happened to be there, and he tells me that his wife is a nurse and that it takes at least 24 hours to get food poisoning. I can tell you for a fact that is wrong, and this guy is ignorant. People can get food poisoning hours after eating it...Plus, I have a very fast metabolism, and my body processes things faster than normal.. 10 hours is plenty of time for food poisoning to set in. Naturally we get in a shouting match, and there are only about 7-8 people in the restaurant mostly employees and I wish I could of videoed how bad he looked. I guess he is struggling or times are rough. I suspect that possibly the cook may have done something as well, but I cannot be sure... I am vegetarian, and asked what didn't have meat, and the cook wasn't even sure when asking the hostess over the phone.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK, AND TELL EVERYONE I KNOW HOW HORRIBLE OF AN EXPERIENCE I HAD.
I still taste the Alfredo sauce in my throat with a mix of bile/th**w up. Absolutely disgusting, I've been sick all day like I...
Read moreThis place must not be known for customer satisfaction.my husband ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad last night.the pizza was ice cold when the delivery person delivered it a house salad was delivered not a Caesar salad .when we called the girl who took the order over the phone tried to tell us we ordered the house salad when my husband repeated what he did order she sounded bothered but her mistake. She told us she could not make the order right because they were going to be closing .when I asked he to speak with a manager she sounded like I asked her to go sit in time out or like I was being unfair that I wanted to talk to someone who can help me understand how a person could take orders over the phone and not be paying attention to what is being ordered.the girl on the phone was extremely rude and told us that we were going to be put on the do not deliver list .how rude .and if that's how sunset solves mistakes caused by one of their employees maybe it's time to train their employees to take on the blame of their own careless mistakes and pay attention to their jobs .it's very unprofessional to screw up a order being placed over the phone and to tell customers placing the order that they will be placed on the do not deliver list if that is sunsets way of taking care of problems caused by one their own employsees then I guess it does not matter that they will lose another customermaybe it's time to train people who will pay attention to their job instead of causing the restaurant to have a drop...
Read moreLast night we spent 80$ on three pizzas, a stromboli, and 1 cannoli. After paying we were told that it was not ready and would be a few minutes so we sat down. Well we were forgotten about. 25 minutes passed and I walked up to the counter to see what was taking so long, our food was ready and had been ready because it was at the bottom of "Done" food pile on top of some silver oven thing in the back. When we finally got our food one pizza was burnt and tasted NASTY and the others were dry and not too good. Everything was warm, no longer HOT!!!! I noticed a larger party full of families ordering separately was there to eat so the lines were long and it was BUSY but the customer service should have remained focused on everyone's food not just theirs. The amount I paid for pizza that was burnt and food that was not really hot anymore was like eating second day old food and as the customer I am not happy!!!!!! All of this occurred after being told I couldn't order a 1 topping ricotta pizza at the price of 1 topping pizza. My families stomachs do no good with the red sauce we just wanted a nice ricotta pizza with no red sauce and olive oil as a replacement of sauce but they REFUSED to accommodate the customer and make the pizza how we NEEDED it. So, we were greatly up charged from 2 1 topping pizzas for 25.99$ which is a joke, to 20$ per pizza because we were forced to order their "white pizza" which 1 was burnt and the other very dry. So I wasted money here and might not order from...
