Went to Smith's. Plan ahead, the parking is usually sparse. It's worth the wait. Smith's has some good prices & specials. The deli dept. is usually more diverse than the Safeway conglomerate. They could usually be trusted to have bakery specials, but our favorite, apple fritters, have seen a price increase in all grocery stores, so we seldom indulge any more. The adjacent dollar store sometimes has good prices on holiday or birthday cards, but the last time I shopped there, I paid a $1 for a card that was clearly marked 2 for $1. I paid it because I was on a mission & my next stop was the delivery of the card, but I'm wondering what ever happened to the customer is right, especially since the checker insisted she was right despite the fact both of us could see the 2 for one sign from...

Been shopping here for 25 years as my neighborhood grocery store and this Smith's is clean and kept stocked plus friendly staff. There is also a Donut place Friendly Donuts and they HAVE THE BEST DONUTS IN VEGAS HANDS DOWN! The Dollar General is a nice one with new attic all the time. BE AWARE of Johnny Macs though. Tower food isn't great and waaaay over priced, the owner is a jerk. Would not easy at Johnny Macs if someone paid me!
