I love Vegas Pauly C, so this isn't to bash him, but my experience at Tacos Pauly was pretty disappointing. Disappointing Taco Experience.
I was really looking forward to trying Tacos Pauly, especially with Pauly C's name attached, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The al pastor was the biggest letdown. They have a rotating "adobada" spit, which usually means fresh, flavorful meat. However, what I got was clearly not cut fresh. It looked like a completely different meat and was incredibly greasy, almost as if it had been sitting in its own grease for a long time. It definitely wasn't good.
The asada tacos weren't much better. The meat looked dry and appeared to have been sitting around for a while as well, lacking that fresh, juicy quality you want in a good taco.
On a positive note, the chips were good. That's about the only highlight of the meal.
Overall, I really do expect more from Pauly C. This restaurant needs a serious revamp, and frankly, some people in the kitchen who truly understand the art of making...

I'm just not used to that and it kind of had a funny smell when you went inside like the oil or something and the fries tasted a little fishy which makes me think the oil needs to be changed... But overall it was a good deal the tacos were buy one- get one free. I wish the girl would have spoken more English at the counter , that would have made things a little easier, and they were out of every meat except for al pastor which was another problem because I wanted a different meat , but overall I would say I would go back there., I just wish it wasn't so far away Boulder highway is out there for me, but I happen to be around there so I checked it out and it was pretty good ... the chocolate cake/flan was actually excellent and its very hard to find that in town and it was a big slice for 5.00. and the bean and cheese burrito we got was...

My husband has been following him (Pauly) on TikTok for a long time, so we were genuinely excited to try it — but unfortunately, we left pretty disappointed.
We ordered tacos al pastor, a quesadilla with pastor, and some chips and salsa.
Chips & Salsa: Most of the chips were burnt.
Tacos al Pastor: The flavor was just off — definitely not what we expected. They weren’t authentic or well-seasoned. There was a lot of meat, but it didn’t make up for the lack of flavor. The creamy green sauce (tasted like sour cream) really didn’t go well with the tacos.
Quesadilla: Very cheesy, but barely any meat inside — a bit disappointing, especially for the price.
Honestly, the best part of the meal ended up being the burnt chips and salsa... Sad to say, the food didn’t live up to the hype.
Also worth mentioning: the cashier was not friendly at all. No greeting, no smile — just didn’t...
