I've ordered here for years. This is located in the mall. However, this time I ordered the yellow curry chicken and it was watered down and disgusting. The owner, a lady argued with me instead of replacing my meal or giving me a refund. She literally said she's not responsible for our taste buds. I've had this same dish before and it was never like this. I make curry all the time and it has a strong flavor and scent. It also is thicker, the curry she made was like water. The consistency wasn't right. I refused to eat it. I've never had a establishment take my money and refuse to replace my meal or make things right. She complained about how the meal will go to waste. Made a big scene. People were actually watching and defending me and disgusted she would really argue over rice, chicken and potatoes and had no sense of customer service. After arguing about cost and wasting the food she finally said fine what else would you want. At that point, I said nothing. I don't trust it anymore. You could do something to my food. Had you not flat out refused to accommodate me and replaced my meal without arguing then sure. I asked to just have my money back or at least half since she is so concerned about cost and wasting the meal. They gave me 7 bucks back not even the tip I gave. The meal was 17. Went in the trash. She told me to go give it to someone who will want it. My kids and I didn't get to eat and we were starving. Hadn't ate all day. My friend and her boyfriend also ordered 2 pad thai plates with shrimp and were unimpressed. They didn't like their food either and tossed it. They didn't want to go through the trouble of asking for a exchange or return but who knew it would be such trouble. That was a ridiculous experience and very cheap and unprofessional. Waste of money. I've given them so much business over the years. Never again. The new lady needs to learn customer service. The pad Thai was sweet...
Read moreWas there with my friend to get lunch after shopping at Dillard's, June 15, 2025 around 3pm. Ordered fried rice and Boba drink. Tried to pay with a $100. bill from the atm but was refused because they can't break a hundred so I immediately paid with my credit card, cost was close to $40. But I didn't leave a tip. After getting our food and eating, they called our order number so my friend went up to see for what since we're already eating our food. They told my friend that the $100. was fake. I ignored what they said and continued eating. They again summoned me to come over which i did. They asked to see the bill and started scanning it in their cheap looking bill scanner and they can't seem to make up their minds...they said it's fake so I said, before you tell me it's fake, you best be real sure that it is. They said they have to keep the bill to report it. My thoughts were, if they were sure it's fake, why not call mall security and report it??? I told them I got that bill out of Wells Fargo ATM and I must take it back to them to make sure their not giving out fake money. I do believe, in my opinion, this girls were trying to swindle me.. I asked for them to use the pen but they said their manager has it and not there. IS THIS A NEW WAY OF RIPPING CUSTOMERS??? I asked for their names but they refused to give. One has a black hair, the other has red hair....there's a 3rd that said she's the manager....SO WHERE'S THE PEN TO CHECK THE BILL??? I was just told the manager has the pen and not there???? Again, IS THIS A NEW WAY OF RIPPING INNOCENT VICTIMS??? Furthermore, to sound accusatory to a customer who just paid for their food and doesn't owe you money is unbelievable. Sounds to me like you discussed what and how to keep that $100. for yourselves before calling the customer back. You're both young girls and I hope you live an honest respectable lives. Crime...
Read moreI used to really like getting boba from here, but since the owner put his mother in charge it's really gone down hill. I got my boba in a blue SOLO cup. I order #6 the original milk tea, which is supposed to have black tea. After I saw the cup and the milk tea looking clumpy and tasting weird I asked the woman in charge about it and she said she put green tea powder in it??? And that she didn't blend it. So she took it back, blended it and handed it to me but obviously green tea is more vegetal compared to a deep sweetness that black tea provides so the flavor was still odd and not what I wanted. Also the boba was still undercooked, it was completely solid in the middle. I still really love their sister location, Anime Boba Cafe, which is right by my house. I just hope that the new woman in charge stops cutting corners and they can go back to being...
