Cashier was VERY rude. Her cashier number is either 82121 or 65352.
Was at the cashier and they had some pillows at the front and I was checking them out before going to the cashier box #2. They had some reusable shopping bags hung up behind the pillows and I guess I knocked one down when I put the pillow back and did not realize. I got to the cashier and she said “So you just like to throw people’s bags off the hooks?” to which I responded “What bags? I only got the towels I am purchasing.” She said “Oh stop it. You know what I’m talking about. You just threw those bags down”.
I’ve worked many years in customer service and have plenty of experience with putting those reusable bags on hooks... One bag falling off by accident and the customer being unaware of it is never that serious.
I went back to where I was looking at the pillows to pick up the bags that I was unaware had fallen on the ground. I could not see that the bags had fallen because they fell behind the huge box of pillows. Her comment did not have to be so rude. She simply could have said, “Hey, would you mind hanging the bags that fell?” and I would have done it gladly.

Read moreThe cashier, I believe Sandra the older lady with pink hair, was rude and pushy. Didn’t greet me when I walked up. Just asked if I wanted a credit card, I said no, she made a face and noise. Then asked about the cancer donation. If she was nicer I’d have said yes, but she was extremely rude. I was talking to the person with me at this point about taking the buggy to the front and she still had not pushed the button for me to make a payment. Then when she was ready asked if I’d like a bag (yes it was a bulky white sheets) then finally pushed the button and said “it’s been ready for you”. No it had not. I worked at TJ Maxx she did not push it for me to do anything on my end. At this point I wanted to just say no thank you and walk away. When I finally got my receipt in hand because I don’t like it put into the bag. She made a point to say “you’re welcome” for what ? Being rude to me the whole interaction ? Buying something to pay for her hourly rate or the salary of the...
Read moreI stopped in to put together a gift bag for my first visit to my daughter's new studio. I found everything I needed for a darling tea set with a saucer/snack plate, some very nice tea in a floral tin, some shortbread cookies for the tea plate, and some lemon/ginger teaspoon lollipops. Julia checked me out perfectly. She greeted me warmly, carefully wrapped my items, pointed out the perfect gift bags hanging on the wall near the registers, and hit all the sales points without being pushy or weird. It was pleasant to be asked about the rewards credit program in such a conversational way. She was helpful and explained all the benefits to me- I just can't extend my credit at this time. She was very polite and I felt great about my purchases. I'll be back for certain. It was a perfect...
