I have never felt so taken advantage of as I do dealing with the people at this location. I wanted to cheer my daughter up from a broken heart with a good meal. We landed on Captain D's ending up spending 52.79. The roof was being worked on and trick or treaters were in the parking lot visiting the employee taking orders. I was told there were no large cups and was not offered a discount for 2 drinks to equal a large. After a long wait I was assured that all sauces were included especially the cocktail since extra shrimp was on the order. I got home only to realize fish was missing from my order as well as my drinks. Being in a wheelchair I still went back to the store which is about 5 miles or so from me. My daughter said she will wait for me to get back to eat. Got there and really no empathy shown at all. Water had collected on the outside of our drinks no offer to remake them. Spent 52.79 now mind you. Rushed home to finally eat and discovered no cocktail sauce had some in the fridge but our food was so cold that just made it worse. The okra was cold and in a big glob. The fries were hard. I spent 52.79 Since it was late in the evening I decided to wait to call to speak to someone regarding this horrible food. I called when they opened and asked to speak to a manager the employee gave the phone to the lady that I had dealt with the night before. She stated no manager was in the restaurant at that time and did not have a corporate number for me. I googled corporate made my complaint and was told I would receive an email which I never did. I decided to call back to the restaurant during a different time in hopes of speaking to someone different. No such luck was getting the same lady with the same attitude. So I decided to call the Madison location cause yea I spent 52.79. Was told someone will contact me the following Monday no one called. So today I'm thinking I spent 52.79 for 2 meals that we could not eat so let me reach back out and see if someone can rectify this for me. Called Hendersonville location talked to a GM was shown empathy was told she was calling someone higher than her came back on the line gave me a number to call for further assistance. I am overjoyed at this point finally some real assistance to the robbery of 52.79. Wrong I called 4x and no one answered. Left text messages for them only to be left on read. So there u have it ladies and gentlemen this location could care less about customer...
Read moreOrdered dinner for two at the drive-through, which was moving very slowly. The woman at the window repeated my order to me twice.
When I got home, the other person's dinner was fine. It was hot, well cooked, and what they ordered. Mine? It was not what I ordered. It was, in fact, some weird tenders dinner thing that looked like it was for a child. It was cold and someone had taken a bite out of one of the pieces of fish.
I looked at the receipt. The woman at the window rang up the tenders thing instead of what I asked for. (No discount for the missing bite, in case you were wondering.)
We took the whole order back to the store. Window Woman was now working the front counter. When I told her what happened and asked for a refund, she did not say she was sorry, she did not respond to me at all. She turned to the people working in back, said it was their fault because someone drove off and they gave her the wrong dinner and she needed a manager.
Quick note here: SHE was the one who rang up the tenders meal. How could the people on the line know to prepare anything different? Blaming other people for your mistakes is unfair to your co-workers and a bad look for your business.
The manager came out, cut me off when I started to speak, told me the two items were the same price and it was all good and started to walk away. I told her we did not want our order. In fact, we wanted a refund. She sighed, took the receipt, canceled the order and threw it down on the counter, with a curt "Taken care of. Have a nice day." as she walked away. No apology, no real effort to make me feel any way but that I was a needless distraction. I was polite to them the whole time.
Was it worth to try to get dinner at Capt. D's? I'll probably get a funny story out of this. We were both tired, hungry, and at the end of a long, busy day. At the time, I would have...
Read moreWell well well. Tried Captain D’s a few months ago after several years and it was excellent. Tried it again at this location and it was terrible. Tried to pick up in the drive through on a Saturday night and started with the lady never answering. Finally she announced through the speak that they were not able to process any orders in the drive through or inside, that it would have to be through the app. We were already here so I downloaded the app and placed the order. When I went inside they were actively taking orders both in the drive through as well as in the lobby. Not sure why I was lied to but I got off easy because very shortly the employees started trashing the customers telling them rudely to wait and then started telling everyone that there was a 30 minute wait. They just came up with a number it was solely to encourage people to go somewhere else. I don’t think I have ever seen employees so miserable at any restaurant before. Finally got my order after they started yelling DoorDash. When I approached and claimed the order but said I wasn’t DoorDash, they asked why I placed it through the app then. I told them they told me to 45 minutes before and they all shared a chuckle. To top it all off, the order was wrong and missing a fish filet.
Absolutely avoid this location at all costs. Horrific experience, cold food, and...
