**EDIT TO ADD: We decided to try Roma's last night in hopes for better customer service. We ordered the Roma's Calzone (comes with sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni and cheeses), but we ordered ours without sausage. Once we got home (15 minutes away from Roma's), we realized there was sausage in the calzone and no mushrooms. My fiance called down there and told them the issue, they credited us $10 on our account. Tonight we ordered a spaghetti and meatball dinner (comes with the spaghetti and meatballs, breasticks and a salad). We ordered ours how it comes with Italian dressing for the salad. We got home (again 15 minutes from the store), just to find out they gave us ranch dressing with our salad. Neither of us like ranch dressing and we don't make salads at home so we never have dressings in our fridge for salads. I called Roma's and told them our issue, they said "sorry about that, next time we will give you 2 Italian dressings." There won't be a next time. We gave them an opportunity to regain our business but it won't ever happen again. 2 nights in a row our orders were messed up!!!!
We order from here often, we always love the food we order so this review has nothing to do with the food we receive. BUT, we also deliver for doordash out of here quite often, today I had an unpleasant experience with the manager there. He was cussing so much about one of the employees supposedly stealing "his tips." OK, fine whatever I'd be mad too but don't discuss it when you have customers in your store, especially when every other word coming out of your mouth is a cuss word. It's unprofessional. I asked to speak to the owner or manager before I left (I didn't realize this same person was the manager), he literally followed me out the door and said "I'm sorry I hurt your little feelings, but he stole my tips!" I said "well it's very unprofessional and bad for your business to speak the way you were while having customers in your store." He kept cussing and literally screaming at me as I was leaving. Several people outside witnessed this person's actions. I will never be ordering from Roma's or doordashing out of there again. Beyond...
Read moreI try to order $49.00 worth of food for delivery. After it was 45 min. late I decided to call. After figuring out how to get threw on there phone and 3 calls later. I got a hold of some guy who informed me my order was canceled. I got no email or phone call. He informed me that I ordered threw Slice app and that it was not there problem. All I did was ordered food threw there website which is integrated with Slice. There phone message even directs you to use the Slice app. So either way I would have thought he would try to fix the issue. He just argued that I should have did a pickup order that delivery is threw Slice and its not on them to fix it. Its up to Slice. He only offers to have a manager call tomorrow. If it was my business I would have gotten in my car and delivered the food personally. I live like 3 miles away. So now I am out 49.00 until I get my refund which they informed me could take up to 48 hours. The worst part was this was 9:00pm at night so I had to rush around and order another delivery. Luckily they were glad to have my business an after hearing the issue I had at Roma they gave me 20% off. After the way I was treated I am glad the order was canceled. Only knows what a mess it would have been. Obviously they could care less about any aspect of there business. I will never order again from them and in my opinion if your website or phone tells you to use the Slice app or website that is very much a part of your business whether you like it or not. How can you put your screw up on me the customer and make me jump threw hoops to get my hard earned money back. Buyers please beware and Stay Away from this business. Good thing I had extra money otherwise my family may not have been able to...
Read moreThe self proclaimed 50% owner/manager I spoke with tonite at the main street location doesnt like it when customers in this town of Hendersonville have a valid reason to complain. He says to me, all you people want to do is tell me how to run my store when customers have a problem with the food and ask him politely to fix his mistake. My wife ordered eggplant parmesan tonite, what she got instead was 90% spaghetti noodles, light tomato sauce and thin tiny pieces of what might be related to an eggplant in some miniscule form with some melted cheese on top. No mention of spaghetti or any similarity of her dish tonite looks in any way as the dish on the website. My wife told him this, his immediate response is proclaiming loudly that she doesn't know what eggplant parmesan pasta is. I say, Does the 50% owner/manager know what google is? For a small business owner, it takes alot of patience, common sense and attention to quality in repetition. This inexperienced 50% owner apparently is unaware of the importance of these important and fundamental traits. Realizing times are tough for them too, I tried to reason with him. In no more than 30 seconds, we would recieve no refund or offer remake the 17.00 dish. I'm realizing now he treats his company foolishly, not seriously. With zero patience or any reasonable effort toward customer service, i question the decision allowing him to run this store in any capacity. 15 plus years of ordering from this location and if this is how things are run now, I will never order from this...
