My wife and I love going to Blossom & Cellar Door so I was ready to compare the two. Its is difficult though to compare as they are different experiences entirely. Eating Thai seems more authentic than B&CD. The Jerkey and Rice is decent, I wish the jerkey had more flavor. The "Eat Thai Fried Rice" which is sortof like the "house special fried rice" with chicken, shrimp, and every other rice add in they have around. And it is delicious, I wasnt a big fan of the shrimp but the kids loved them. They have "Thai Bubble Tea" in a couple of flavors. I ordered the mango thinking it was just a fruit tea that used air to percolate instead of hot water but what I got was not that. The BUBBLE in "Bubble Tea" is in reference to these blueberry sized black "bubbles". With a strangely squishy consistency the bubbles had no flavor but the mango slushy the bubbles were in was great. It was worth ordering to watch the kids reactions to it. The crown jewel of the items I ordered hands down was the Tom Kha which is a coconut soup with chicken and special seasoning. This stuff changed me. It is not only the best Thai dish I've ever eaten but scores in my top 5 favorite foods. Absolutely Incredible flavors. We went on a Friday night and they were slammed. It looked like one person cooking and the other poor girl was having to answer call in orders, seat dine in customers and wait on them, bus all the tables for dine in, and ring up the to go orders and the dine in. She did pretty good though, it was quite impressive. She did not miss one thing about our large complex and custom order and although you could tell it had to be stressful she always was very pleasant and accommodating every time she came to the table. Highly Recommend. New favorite restaurant in...
Read moreI have been going here for years now. My first really bad experience. My wife, our son, and I showed up to dine in as there were no other customers inside. The middle aged lady who was the waitress front end worker did not greet us just wiped the table down and walked away. As we seated. She then brought us menus that smelled as if they had been wiped with a old water and a mildew towel. At this point she still didn’t say hi or offer to take our drink order. As time went on I decided to time her before we went somewhere else. I gave her 8 minutes and she had yet to come by or offer to take a drink order. I understand people have bad days, but terrible customer service is terrible customer service. She had other people working in the kitchen and the phone wasn’t ringing off the hook with orders. So I am not sure what was going on. At this point we got up and left. If the owners or lady read this. Save us both the time, and say hey we don’t want to serve you in restaurant. Place a to go order. We left and went to California Tacos Taqueria instead. Which was...
Read moreMy son and I went Eatin Thai place on Easter Sunday and the server act like she had an attitude the whole time taking our orders. My first time there and will be the last. I felt like we was treated unfair comparing to the other guest of 6 that was there. She never came back and check on how we doing or do we need anything but she ask other group and even pre-bus their table. Before the group of 6 left they ask if they need another drink or to go box but never ask us nothing but just brought our food to the table and that’s it. Even when the other group left they politely say thank you have a great day and Happy Easter. When we pay and we even left $6 tip on a $26 tab and she didn’t say nothing to us. As we got in the car we thought about how rude she was and almost went back in and took the tips off but we didn’t. We won’t be going back though, it was very hurtful and I’m ashamed for her because I’m Asian myself but my son are...
