I’m usually always going to dinner with family and friends in Hendersonville. I’ve passed this place many times, but I’ve never been in before. Tonight after dinner at Penn Station next door, we decided we wanted some dessert! The ice cream side was very busy. But my fiancé and I wanted a cookie, where there were no customers at. At the cookie counter, was a younger girl leaning on the counter chatting to the employee Kristin about personal stuff. My fiancé and I just kinda stared at each other awkwardly staring at Kristin, where she did not greet us or even acknowledge our existence even though there was zero customers at the cookie counter but us. She very easily saw us, but decided to finish chatting with her friend before helping us after around three minutes of us discussing if we should just leave or not. Once she was finished chatting, we felt very rushed when telling her what cookies we wanted. Once we picked out the ones we wanted, she just handed us the bag and started to walk away. Because we’ve never been there before, we didn’t know who to go to to check us out. We asked and she hesitated before walking over to the cash register to check us out. This is totally unacceptable, even if it is just cookies we were getting. I definitely don’t think we will be back. Terrible first experience. This was my second visit to your establishment and the customer service was the worst, there was one customer in front of me as I was waiting another customer entered there were several employees that were coming from the back looking and returning to the back never asking if they could assist. I am not one for the race card but a woman came from the back and asked the gentleman that just walked in if she could help him totally disregarding the fact that I was standing there and had been waiting for an extended amount of time she served him and never asked if she could help me returning to the back . The young lady that was to help me was very disrespectful When I asked about the rewards program she had given me half the receipt she did not reprint but gave me two pieces when asked what I would need to do she said very rudely it too late your done.
