This place is a MESS! Ordered September. Told me my bedroom furniture would be delivered like November 21st. No call even on the day and they said "No, I don't see anything on our end that we were supposed to deliver". Picked up one piece that was in while we were in town and got home and it was busted. Took them a few weeks to come with a replacement that had a hole in the back and was dented in the front. They said they'd call us when they had a schedule for someone to repair the visible dent. The week of Christmas I get a call "I'm about 10 minutes out" to repair the dresser - that's all the heads up I got - luckily we were home. On December 29th the rest of the bedroom furniture was supposed to be delivered. They pulled up and the footboard drawers were busted. The wrong colored head board was on the truck. So they said they put an rush delivery in and it would for sure be in by the end of the day or December 30. Called December 29th and no answer just got voicemails and left voicemails with no return call. Called December 30th and they said it was for sure scheduled between 11:30a-1:30p. NO ONE SHOWED. Called again and again and "I'll get back to you" and never did. Called in the afternoon and they weren't sure who told me that the headboard would be delivered today. Meanwhile we're sleeping on the floor. This place is a sorry excuse for a company, how can a place have such poor communication is beyond me. Our living room furniture ordered in September "might" be ready in January. I know this is due to COVID but we will see what else they mess up. Summary: Their furniture all arrives broken and they don't know what end is up.
APRIL 25: The sectional we have been waiting for since September my needed one piece that was on backorder. The chaise. It arrived a couple weeks ago but they’re scheduled 2 months out for delivery. So we sold our couch yesterday and drove 4 hours round trip to pick it up in Duluth. Got home to Michigan and THEY GAVE US THE WRONG SIDED RECLINER!!!!!!!! You can’t make this mess up! The replacement “might” come in in a month. Per Sharon. But that means 6 months.

I reached out via the online chat, and very quickly received a call from Sales Associate Virginia Mold. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and fun to talk to, and got my order processed in just a few minutes. I wanted to make sure to specifically shout out Virginia in this review because of how pleasant she was to deal with! (We ended up playing phone tag for a short while due to a miscommunication on my end, and dealing with somebody like Virginia who remained pleasant and was able to laugh about the situation with me goes a LONG way!)
I dealt with this store a second time upon the delivery of my couch, as the delivery truck had a problem and was unable to bring my couch on the day I had scheduled. (Life happens, this was nobody's fault.) That being said, the associate who made the call about the delivery delay was very accommodating and made an exception for me to have the couch delivered the following day (on a weekend, when they typically do not deliver), which I truly appreciated.
All in all my experience with the Duluth HOM Furniture location was above and beyond. Though I have yet to actually step foot in the store, all of my interactions with the associates, especially how friendly and helpful they were, was enough to make me want to leave this review.

I was told that the store couldn’t take my payment info over the phone and gave me a 1-800 number with an order number to actually place the order and provide payment. Never did it this way before, after spending thousands of dollars on furniture and mattresses in the past. Was told it was for my protection. After placing my order was told that one of the twin mattresses was not in stock. But I had already paid, so I am now waiting on the salesman to call me to see what do do about getting both. I’m supposed to give them by end of day to contact me with a resolution. Why are they doing this to customers? I called someone who worked from home, to give him my order with my credit card info, but the store salesman couldn’t do the same???? Now I’m left having no idea when or what I will receive. The phone rep was extremely nice, but the policy of doing business like this leaves me confused!
