The employees here are entirely incapable of multitasking. They’re careless. Full drive thru, went in to get a cone instead since it goes a little faster. They were all just talking, in no rush to get orders out. Completely unprofessional. No hair nets over beards while handling food. So gross. No sense of urgency whatsoever. There were 6 cars in the drive thru, and I was the only one in the dinning room. I’ve been here a couple other times just for a cone and it takes 20 minutes EASILY, each time. You get to the counter and no one acknowledges you, or you get to the speaker and they’re like “give us a few minutes and we will be right with you”…a few minutes? I’m the..only one here??? 🤣 When I worked fast food…they call it fast food because it’s supposed to take way less than 20 minutes to get a single item prepped for a customer, we had to get things out in 5 minutes or less. If you know a rush is coming on an average evening, you make stuff in bulk, keep it hot so it’s ready to go. How does this location expect to make money working this way? Not saying it’s a glamorous job…but come on. A single dipped cone and I’m finishing an entire college lecture in my car before I get to the window? Kind of ridiculous. Read moreI came here with my family at 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday, and clearly on the door it states that they close at 9:00. Additionally it said that the lobby closes an hour before the drive-thru so I was anticipating the lobby closing at 8:00. The entire place was locked and we saw the kids working up front and they were not letting us in. We went over to the drive-thru and when we asked if the lobby was open they said sorry we're under staffed tonight. So being understaffed means that you can't use the lobby for the one family that's here? It was a ghost town and we will be the only family in there... So we had to tell her kids that they couldn't play at the play place when they were still clearly 2 hours for them too.
I want to be sympathetic to them being understaffed but at least post a sign or let us know... Don't just lock us out and pretend like you can't let us in. We clearly saw plenty of people in there and believe you me I would have helped you bust the table if that meant we could go in there.
Really disappointed with the god-awful service.
Normally the ice cream is really good but I can't support a place that is not accommodating...
Read moreUnfortunately, Arctic Circle has gone downhill. The food is mediocre at best. The only thing they have going for them is the "courtesy cone." This particular location does have a kids play area and a decent indoor seating area for eating. The restrooms were dismal. I know that it's not their fault that customers can't flush the toilet, but seeing "presents" in the toilet is not a warm welcome. Being out of handsoap is "slightly" disturbing though. Now, for the teenager cashiers...when we finished placing our order, my brother-in-law and I turned to each other and just shook our heads, saying that if this is the next generation to lead the world, we're in trouble. They couldn't figure out the cash register, nor could they figure out change (the readout tells how much change to give!!!). The order had a few glitches, but nothing that a few trips back up to counter couldn't fix. In their defense, however, their pseudo shift manager (or some other designee) did make rounds on all the customers asking how their meals were and if there was anything he could do to make the experience better.
