Pretty disappointed in the service I got tonight. These guys have been my favorite for a long time because the food is always good & delivery is always fast. But tonight was the opposite.
I placed an order online & got a 505 order error , order not placed, that also said “text okay” then immediately got the email saying my order went through so I went to click on delivery tracker & it said my order could not be found.
I called once & heard the auto recording then heard the phone be answered & the phone sat down. No one answered, no one asked me to hold on a sec, no one said anything. I waited, not hearing anyone for 4 minutes while occasionally saying hello? No one told me to hold! & I could hear stuff happening in the background so I knew the phone had been answered.
I’d read the reviews earlier about people having issues with being put on hold or orders being placed but never received so when I was “put on hold” a 3rd time (without being told so) I could hear phones ringing but no one talking, meaning same thing was happening to others. Since I’d seen the reviews I got worried & started saying come on guys I’ll hold no problem just tell me I’m holding. Finally I said I’ll just come in if no one is going to talk to me & a woman answered & said sorry for the hold so I dropped it. They said they’re having issues with the website & she read my order back to me so she was nice just clearly stressed.
With these bad customer service reviews & issues with orders being placed online, you’d think they’d at least try to make some changes. I was a loyal customer to these guys because I’ve never had issues before, but it’s literally basic customer service that you ask a person to hold before just doing so. Then, you check back every 4-5 minutes to let the customer know they have not been forgotten about.
Please, update your reps to give better service Pizza Hut, just look st your reviews. I’ve worked in customer service type jobs for 7 years. If you get stressed, ask the customer to hold, take a deep breath then continue on with the job. Because you can’t get mad at people for asking you to do YOUR job. The sooner you learn that, the less you’ll be stressed. That’s just apart of life & customer service. I know most of y’all are young, but this is still a job. Think of your family or friends getting the service YOU’RE giving. If you wouldn’t want them to have that kinda service, then you need to change what you’re doing.
*customers reading this, do not take frustration out on the driver, tip them accordingly. It’s not their fault the in store customer service isn’t great. The driver we had was a sweetheart, asked what we were up to & was extremely grateful for the tip we gave her which means most people aren’t tipping her well, which isn’t fair, because she did her job incredibly! So cute blonde delivery girl, keep your incredible, upbeat manner going, it’ll get you further in life! Read moreWe purchased this yesterday originally it said it would arrive at our house at 7:39 @ 8:15 We called the restaurant to find out if everything was okay or if we needed to come get it We were informed that the driver had come to get it recently and that it should be at our house soon. We had a problem in the past where the food sat forever by the time it got to us it was Cold so I asked If the food had been sitting for a while and if we needed to just cancel and reorder and I would come pick it up I was assured that no the delay was on their end and getting it cooked and not in the pickup. Fast forward the food finally arrives the pizza is cold and solid you know happy to get when it sits out for a while and the cheeses completely solid and the breadsticks were soggy because they had been sitting in a hot bag there was moisture in the bag a lot of moisture actually we could dump it out. The boneless buffalo wings there should have been eight of them and they fit into my hand I wear a size small in women's gloves these were also cold. Very disappointed My kiddo was really excited to get pizza because he had gotten a good grade and I told him if he'd turned in all of his work and got a good grade and did all of his chores for a month We would get pizza. Needless to say he was pretty sad when the pizza arrived this way and I ended up just making dinner. I don't know if this is just the area we live in or what but it seems that a lot of the restaurants around us in this area the folks just don't care which is why we don't eat out as much anymore probably a good thing saves...

I made the mistake of going back to Pizza Hut. Last time ty took so long and I complained about the time and the person in the phone suggested I come get a job there. I should have known the customer service was going to be an issue.
TODAY 10/28/18. I used the app to order my food. I put in my cc information and the app showed that “my card would be charged.” When the delivery person came to the door she said that there wasn’t a payment. I looked at the app and it still showed that a payment was coming from my card. I then checked my bank app and it showed that there was a pending charge from Pizza Hut. I spoke with the driver and she said she’s go back to the store and work it out.
I received a call later from the store manager. He said that they hadn’t received the payment. I told him that I didn’t feel comfortable giving my information and that the payment still showed pending. He said he’d wait till the next day and see what happened.
Later the driver called and said that she was being charged the cost of the pizza. I then provided my cc info. Then appeared a second pending charge.
I called the manager back and he apparently has no idea how these things work. He couldn’t understand that I couldn’t instigate the payment to go to them. That had to happen via the app.
This is twice I’ve used this store. Twice the customer service has failed. The manager is unwilling to see that...
