look this place is a convenient spot to get fast Mexican on the go, its not very good compared to the other spots like it closer to downtown and west valley. some staff is friendly some not so much, I don't know why but some of the ladies make you feel like your being there to order is an inconvenience to them.
anyways on to the food, I only get the California burrito now because that's the only thing thats hard to mess up, the few times ive gotten the carne asada fries it was bad, the fries were so soggy like not even fully fried and the meat had no seasoning, not even salt. a few other items are just not that great, look I know your the only Mexican in the area and you have a drive through but if it wouldn't hurt to have a little more pride in what you cook, appreciate my $10 I spend and it usually turns into a lot more if the food is good, it just feels lazy and I get it there open all the time but if they fixed the small things it would be a great spot. I only go here because its close and that...
Read moreTo preface my review I would like to say my food was good. However there were a few issues I encountered during my visit. First the prices at the restaurant do not match the prices on their website. The prices have gone up. Second I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito and it had potatoes in it. I have been to a number of these style restaurants and this is the first time I had potatoes in my Carne Asada Burrito. The potatoes tasted good, but we all know that the reason they put potatoes in is take the place of more steak. On their website there is no mention of potatoes in their Carne Asada Burritos. They do however list on their menu a Carne Asada Fries Burrito, but that is not what I ordered and the potatoes were not in fry form. Despite all of these complaints, the food was good and filling. I think a few years ago these burritos were a good value at around $5. My burrito at $7.50 (after tax) makes me question the value. For $7.50 I could go to a less hole in...
Read moreWe have been long time customers but no more. My family and I don't eat out much, so when we do, it's special. The young girl who took our order seemed confused by a question about tostadas, and from that moment, she treated us like we weren't worth her time. She got the order wrong, but hey! We aren't too picky. As we are getting our order to-go we asked if we could please get some green salsa. Which is literally the reason we came. It's usually so good. She told us they don't have green sauce or green salsa and walked away. I went to the self serve bar and there is a whole container of green salsa. No cups or containers... no one came back to the front regardless of me standing there like an idiot patiently waiting. So dissapointed. They have gone downhill fast.
Do yourselves a favor and head over to Rancharitos in Riverton. It's worth the 10...
