Food was good, coffee okay. Prices as expected for "touristy" spot. There is definitely an issue with customer flow and directions. It is not obvious right away where to order (there are some signs, yes, but not simple enough), and the menu is in an odd place compared with where you order. The staff could help a lot by making contact with customers and pointing out the menus and ordering process. You place your order at a counter and they give you a table number marker. You go sit down and they bring your food to the table, but no one ever tells you that they will make your drinks at a different counter and just say your table number and you are supposed to know somehow that you should pay attention to hear your table number and go get your drinks from the counter yourself. I noticed almost every customer coming in the door looked around with a confused look on their face to see where to go to order, and then subsequently I observed drinks sitting for long periods of time on the drink counter waiting for a customer to notice and come up to get them. It seems there could be massive improvements made with just a few minor changes that would help customers feel more comfortable and satisfied with the flow of their service and experience. Ownership can let me know if they want...
Read morewas so upset. I got the American omelette. It was so PLAIN it had a bad ratio of cheese and egg with 2 pieces of bacon tucked in. :| for $8 I would expect a piece of toast. The Bacon egg and cheese had just the fastest peace of egg inside and you expect that to be good but not in this case. Couldn’t even eat it was just too thick to enjoy the bacon and croissant. When I asked the server who came to drop off my egg at the table I asked her if they can add a toast and she said I had to wait in line again to get toast. Of course I was willing to pay the toast at that point but making me wait behind a line of ~10 people while food was getting cold. No thanks……. At least The girl who took my order was...
Read moreWe stopped by here to check out the museum and decided to have lunch at this café. I ordered a Reuben that came with chips. Looking at the sandwich it looked really good but when I went to pick it up the sandwich more or less fell apart because it was still very hot inside and everything was melting and falling out of the sandwich. Ended up being a real big mess and I had to basically eat it with a fork and a knife. I was very disappointed in the sandwich. They had several tables there that had been left unattended. The food is overpriced for what they offer if you want fries with something that’s an...
