Call the location up in Hershey, asked if there is reservations or call ahead? The response was go to our website and do it there okay bye. Was surprised on that remark, went on to the website clicked on the waiting indicator don't remember exactly what it is, which technically brings you to a different website but most people would not know that. It kept saying that I'm missing a field to enter (I'm VERY computer/technology say) I did nothing wrong. If finally worked after about 15 attempts and I put in I wanted a booth. It told us it was a 20 minute wait, we get in there about 15 minutes later, did you our check in for my wife and I so it was only a total of two guests. They kept on scrolling through the whole entire tablet so fast I had to slow down and show him my name was like fifth from the top. They confirm to me that I wanted a booth right? I said very much so, they then told me that I might have to wait quite some time for a booth but I be okay with the table I said sure but I really prefer booth, about 15 minutes later two booths cleared up and some other tables as well but they were calling us back so I went back up and asked how far we are and they said your second from being seated so then I said well that's good that means since there's two booths over there open we'll get one right? They said well no the booths hold more people. So I said how is that fair? You do to call ahead and you ask in the system what you prefer I waited now for over 40 minutes for something I was told was 20 minutes and you have a booth open over there but you don't want to give it to me because of partys that might be larger than our size? They said well yeah that's how it works, my response was how does that work? You do a call ahead through your reservation system you ask what you would like I tell them I want to booth and you're pretty much telling me I can't have a booth because the people that you showed me on your tablet that were six couples down on the list have priority over me because the amount of people they have? Needless to say we got put at a table. I have not even talking about the food yet, so we got stuck on what I swear was one of the busiest tables and I get it it's a Friday night the temperature is nice outside and it's busy, but I swear we got stuck and wanted a busiest tables around, I did this whole entire point to ease up the tence hectic job my wife has working at the hospital in the Cancer institute in the infectious disease department, but I can just see the frustration and anger on her face while we were there, she ordered a house salad mozzarella sticks and I ordered boneless wings, they brought out the house salad she started eating into it and she said that the lettuce taste like plastic, I understand that there may be something going on I don't know either way the next thing that really puzzled her which I'm sure it's how your menu is set up is there was corn in a house salad?!? My wife and I have been together for over two decades, the amount of different restaurants that we have gone to I have never, ever, ever! Seen corn in a house salad, it was a weird experience. The waiter came back asking everything was all right with the salad because 10 minutes at the table that's the only thing we got my wife said everything was fine but she was aggravated, so I let the waiter know that not really, asked why is there corn in a house salad he says that it's not his choice that is just how the company does it and I told him about how to let us was in it, he offered to get us a new salad my wife is just so aggravated over it and said no this is fine. After about another 20 minutes our mozzarella sticks and boneless wings came out. The mozzarella sticks were good! The boneless wings? Not so good! I have done curbside pickup with this place probably about 5 to 6 times this year alone sound familiar with the menu but these wings the more you chewed on them they fought back in your mouth almost like you're chewing and...
Read more(Visited 08/12/23) I have to say for my first time in Pennsylvania wanting to go to hershey park, and this being my first restaurant choice (after googling whats the best places to visit and Primanti Bros came up as one), I was VERY disappointed in almost everything that went down.
For an appetizer, we (me, my girlfriend, and stepson) got the Giant Pretzel and I got myself a "giant" pizza slice I didn't touch the Pretzel so I can't speak on it but my GF said it was okay, the slice was alright, super greasy but one bite everyone knows the rules.
Where it all went south was these entrees. My girlfriend ordered regular wings with no sauce (due to allergies), we got the kids a kids burger I ordered the Loaded Terror fries and the Buffalo chicken sandwich "fried chicken breast covered in Buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing". . . The fries were decent, but I could have used more Srirach, and they were pretty soggy and could barely dip them in any sauce as they bent. I added the description of the sandwich because when it came out, it not only had ZERO sauce on it, it had ZERO blue cheese, but I took a bit of it an realized that this isn't my burger and asked the waitress "is this a Buffalo chicken sandwich?" She said "yes it is. looks at it Oh, that's weird. It's usually dripping with sauce." (She then brought me two cups of Sauce). But for my my girlfriend they brought her Buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese (which she's allergic too but we didn't specify that to them so no one knew) and she knows what not to eat that will cause a reaction so she told the waitress and the waitress gave us the wings and corrected the order just after that I found out where my Buffalo sauce and blue cheese from my sandwich went. The table was supposed to have a huge paper towel roll for "napkins," which we had to ask for and not a single water refill or mention of one. To top it off the system went down so we waited in disappointment for an extra 15 minutes but that wasn't anyone's fault so it is what it is but aside from all of that the area seems very nice and maybe it's a better place for just drinks but I wouldn't ever want to go back if I...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal Primanti’s customer for years, drawn in by the unbeatable Pittsburgh vibe; especially on game days. As a die-hard Steelers fan living in Hershey, PA, Primanti’s has always been a go-to spot to feel at home. Every single Steeler game, without fail, they’ve cranked up the audio so we can cheer every snap, groan at every penalty, and lose our minds over those iconic plays.
But today? Absolute betrayal. The Steelers vs. Patriots game - our boys in black and gold battling it out - and not a peep of sound. I show up early, grab a table, and settle in, only to realize the TVs are muted.
When I asked the server (who is great!) what was up, she sheepishly explained the manager’s ridiculous call: Since the Eagles were playing at the same time, he decided no audio for ANY game.
Not the Steelers, not the Eagles - nothing. Just a bunch of silent screens mocking us fans.
This is Primanti Brothers, a Pittsburgh institution! It’s not some neutral sports bar; we bleed black and gold here. That manager single-handedly sucked the soul out of what should’ve been an electric atmosphere.
Go watch the game at home or find a real Pittsburgh bar that remembers its roots. Primanti’s in Hershey, you’ve lost a customer. Fix this nonsense.
ADDENDUM: Our only issue was the manager’s initial insistence not to play audio for the Steelers v Patriot’s game due to the presence of Eagles fans. Fortunately, thanks in large part to the amazing service and mediation from our server Alissa, we met with the manager who eventually corrected the problem and, from the 2nd Q on, we had Steelers sound. Thank you Primanti’s for not forgetting your...
