El Charro — Restaurant in Hesperia

Bad experience. I ordered a Taco salad to go..I ordered it with El Pastor. When I got home, there was nothing on the salad, but wet Ice burg lettuce! No tomato, no cheese and no El Pastor, but another kind of meat. The tortilla bowel was nasty. Tasted like they never ever change their frying oil. I called the restaurant to complain about it. The lady that I talked to said I ordered Barbeqoa. I said No I ordered El Pastor. I know this for a fact bcuz I never order Barbeqoa. Bcuz I don't like it. She argued w me saying...Yes you did you ordered Bbqoa.I said no I did not...she said Yes you did!! I laughed and said are you actually arguing w me!?? Lol. By then I was over it. Went here with my cousin, he's had the soup before. I was pleasantly pleased. Its got a good beefy broth, as it should. Good portion of beef. I would've liked a bit more veggies. I'll certainly come back again and when i do i'll ask for more even if i have to get charged extra. Small Salad Bar, contains radishes, pickled carrots and only one chipotle based sauce. I only ate half and brought the other home. Rice was ok. Paid about $9 taxes included per each.

It's a small place, so during rush hours expect it to get a bit crowded. We called ahead and dined in at around 8 PM, there was only another couple there. Staff was friendly and courteous, 2 Ladies...

This place is AMAZING!!!! You want authentic mexican food, come here, don't waste your time anywhere else. Me and my boyfriend came here on our first date, and i suggested it because I use to eat their tacos when I was a teen, my parents and I would go to a different restaurant, in Victorville. We came here and he LOVED it, he says it's amazing, he started loving Al Pastor tacos and even the Al Pastor burrito, he would never eat anywhere else but here for authentic mexican food. This is our place to go each time he visits. I recommend to anyone who comes up to Victorville or to anyone who lives near by, come here, it's more then a 5...
