Update: Changing my 2 stars to 4 ,a year later, because this last few months have been great! Not only is everyone so much more welcoming and helpful but the speed of service was so good today. Everyone had a job todo and was doing it so fast!! Everything was still clean and nice and organized🤗🤗🤗🤗
--**I am changing my stars from 1 to 2 because I saw some improvement in the store the last 2 times I visited. The manager was a Sandy blinded haired lady and was ON TOP OF IT! Every employee was working efficiently and were kind and communicating to each customer.

This Starbucks has the opportunity to make way more money then it does. I have traveled all around the US for work and drink 2-3 Starbucks a day. I have been in all sorts of locations. Many of the crew here does not value their jobs or customers. We moved to the High Desert 3 months ago and learned very fast that this store is the one to avoid if you are in a hurry. The drive thru line is always very long, which is fine in itself but the crew is so very very slow. It takes on average 4 minutes per car in front of me to get a drink. Which means I could be in line or 30 min here. So, we have decided that we would start going inside. Bigger mistake. Both times int the last week the crew is just laughing and playing with each other with no urgency. There were 6 employees tonight. 8 customers int he dining room. I watched as 2 of the girls giggled and bumped into each other and would have to glance at a cup multiple times in order to remember what they were supposed to make. Another girl leaning against the counter with a sleeve of lids in her hand, just fiddling with it. Another employee at the drive thru window with her elbow on the counter slowly poking in orders as if she couldn't careless. There were 2 guys (one at the register and another running around doing drinks) that were working correctly. A few customers and I stared at them all in disbelief as the clock ticked 20 minutes. One of the gigglers glanced over at me and I made a slight movement with my hand (a kind of "Sooo, where are the drinks" kind of motion). She stopped laughing and turned to the espresso machine to make a drink. The other girls just turned and look over at us all waiting and moved as with out an type of hurry. 26 minutes I got my 1 drink of 2 espresso shots. I can't not think of a reason to come back to this location anymore. It was because it is down the street from my home but I would rather drive to the one 10 min away and spend $3 in gas to get a $2 drink. Check out the other reviews lately. We have made a mobile order at store #0784 on 1/15/21 @ 11:48 AM ( 5 drink 2 lattes, 2 frapes, 1 tea).
Upon arrival at 12:15 PM to store #0784 I approached the pick up counter, I asked Chris about my mobile order.
Chris confirmed order was ready and started to make other drinks. Upon completion of those drinks I asked Chris again for our mobile order that was behind the screen.
Chris then proceeded to put 4 out of the 5 drinks into a carrier and handed them to me I asked Chris for the fifth drink. He said order was complete. I pointed to the label that had stated order had 5 items.
Chris responded, ok I will make it. I waited while Chris made 5 more drinks without completing our order. At that time I asked to speak to a manager. Chris pointed to the MGR at resistor 1 in a red apron. I ask Chris his mgr name and he said (Manager).
I approached Manager behind the counter. And waited in front of her for additional 5 minutes in front of her. She would not acknowledge me. I asked her Ms can you help me. She walked away. My 5 th drink was still not made at this time.
I asked another Starbucks store rep, to let his mgr know that I wanted to speak with her. He replied oh she is on a call and you will need to contact customer care services.
This is the second bad experience that I have had at Starbucks store 0784.
There is no reason for any Starbucks store to treat any customer in this manner.
Starbucks store 0784 will be losing my business.
I look forward to moving my business. To a new coffee shops in the area..(Six Bean)..

Read moreUpdate 6 months This is one of the best starbuckses I'm going everyday to get a coffee, I love that the baristas as soon as I reach the drive-thru they already know what I'm about to order. The baristas are super friendly, nice and with a smile on their face. I truly recommend this Starbucks, but please don't go when I'm going to make me traffic. I hate traffic. Also a note to the owner" you have the best crew. Please give them a raise"
Update 1 month after bad service. Wow what a change! So far my coffee is good make it the way supposed to do is back on the my favorite Starbucks in the high desert. Great service I truly recommend them. Old review. This Starbucks location is the worst. They never give what you order. I'm going there everyday and I'm ordering the same thing everyday, but this year alone I got only once the stuff that I order the rest of the times they give me whatever and even though I'm telling them how to make it and it's the stuff that they have on the menu. But no it is the worst do not go stay away. I returned same order 2 times and finally they got it right on the third try , either the owner doesn't care of loosing money or doesn't know about how bad they're staff is .
