If you're planning to have the steak and lobster ($40 btw,) do yourself a favor and just go to Red Lobster. I got this last night and it consisted of a 1" wide piece of steak, 1/2 of a sweet potato (that they annoyingly call a "yam" - true yams are only found in Africa and Asia. 99% of Americans have never even seen a true "yam"before.) The lobster was fine. But that's ALL that came in my $40 meal. My mom, husband and son all also got (1") steaks. Seriously looked like they took a regular steak and divided it between all 4 of us. The women who took our order seemed like she really didn't want to be there (why would she, they're making peanuts.) But she was impatient, unfriendly, and just overall unhelpful. She deserves to work there, just maybe not as the "face" of the restaurant, when people first walk in. The waitress at our table was SUPER nice and helpful! Kudos to her. The cheese bread was good, and my 2 other kid's salmon meals were tasty, small, but tasty. Usually when we go to Red lobster, you're served so much food that there's no way you finish it all, so there's lots of "doggy bags" to bring home. Not from here. First time I've ever gone to a restaurant in my life and actually finished every bite of my food. We came here like 3 years ago and it was impeccable. This trip was our last. I'd rather just go to Red lobster, pay the same amount, but get twice the amount, and twice the quality, of the food. I wanted to do something special for my mom's bday, since she's had such a hard year, but she just said to me, "wow, we should've went somewhere else, huh." Sizzler WILL go out of business if they continue...
Read moreMy family of 6 arrived about an hour and twenty minutes of closing. When placing our order with the manger, we noticed we were being over charged and brought out to his attention. That matter was resolved upon his further inspection of the receipt. Although roughly around twenty minutes of closing out server Jessica let us know that they will be closing the salad bar early so if we wanted anything else that we should go at that time. I proceeded to let her know that we’re still had at the bet least another fifteen minutes at the bet least. She gave attitude and said ok. At that time another kitchen worker has already come out of the kitchen with a speed rack and sheet trays to put the food away that I said we would still get. Which is therefore lack of communication. Upon leaving exactly at 9, I asked the manager of that was standard operating procedure, which he responded yes because I don’t want the workers taking a second lunch so they need to clock out by nine pm. He seemed oblivious to the fact that the encounter itself came off rude and backed the servers decision. Food was good but service was terrible as our server was too busy trying to close and not focused on tending our table. Although I heard her tell her manager that she has been clocked out for...
Read moreMy family enjoys coming here to eat and we always have great service BUT today DeAnna/Diana was by far the worst waitress we've encountered. She completely ignored our table another waitress cleared off our table due to plates stacking up. DeAnna/Diana was too busy entertaining the tables around us @ 1 point she was blocking my chair while talking and talking with the table next to us! Not once did she stop talking to move so I can sit down not even when i said excuse me! We waited for about 15-20 min to ask her for a to go box she never came back. I had to ask the cashiers in the front and after they informed her we still sat waiting for her. I got up after another 5 min or so of waiting and asked the cashier again for a to go box. Finally our waitress brings one and as I was going to ask her for a to go cup she leaves and here I am again playing the waiting game! The guy who cleaned off the table was the one who actually got me a to go cup for my drink. The food was great as always Jessica the cashier was very helpful and yes we will definitely be coming here again in the near...
