Skillet Cafe Too — Restaurant in Hesperia

I was visiting family in Hesperia and was introduced to the Skillet... food was great and normally, so is the service. On my last visit a couple weeks ago (beginning of Aug/ 2020), I had left my wallet at my families home, but had my phone for Samsung pay. I've used it at this establishment before with no problem, but on this visit, I was treated poorly by a short, dark haired woman while trying to pay, almost like I was trying to rip them off. I explained to the her that I'd paid this way before, but she was resistant, snarky and condescending to me. I finally said in a polite manner, "could we just try it"? It clearly worked. The entire time she acted as though I was making her life difficult and actually said, "Well, I guess I have no choice then"! For those of you not familiar with Samsung pay,, its built on MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology which means it works wherever you can swipe a credit card, unlike Android and Apple pay which work on NFC (Near Field Communication) which require special Point of Sale terminals. She isn't expected to know that, but she never gave me the opportunity or the benefit of the doubt. Just treated me like a criminal! I will never give them another nickel! I had been here before and it was great. I went back on Saturday and I ordered the Eggs Benedict without the side. I could care less if I pay the same or less for this, but I don't like wasting food and I know how easily I get full. The waiter was so insistent about, "Are you sure you don't want a side? You're still paying for it." She repeated this about three times. She also stated the same to another customer behind us. The repetition of her statement was so annoying and took away all the excitement I had for my food.
