El Torito Restaurant & Meat Market — Restaurant in Hesperia

I was craving birria and I know this place sells goat meat so I went there to buy some. Unfortunately they didn’t have any they said they used it all up on the birria. I decided to buy a bowl of birria. It was $25.00 and I didn’t care I wanted to satisfy my craving. When I got home I served my self and the moment I tasted the birria I was grossed out. It was thick and it tasted like can tomato sauce with an excessive amount of garlic and eucalyptus leafs it was very greasy and it was almost like a tomato gravy, I tried putting extra lemons, onion, cilantro , chili, and nothing made it taste better, so I quit after two spoons of trying. It was gross. I will never buy food there again. The owner is very nice the people on the front and meat service are very nice and They sell good quality meat. The food however left a bad taste in my mouth I hope they do...

I've been in this "restaurant" twice, once about 5 months ago and then again today. The first time they had just opened for the day... I walked in and seen TRASH overflowing in the trashcan when I first walked in the floors were unswept the bar counter VERY dirty! Today I figured they may have had a bad day the last time... NO! People were actually eating in there and again the dirt was evident! I went to the bar and again it was FILTHY at 1:30 in the afternoon! The Bartender looked at me and didn't even say hello she just kept on making her drinks. I asked if she would clean the bar counter and she told me to WAIT! SNOTTY Bartender, FILTHY surroundings was more than I could stand... So OUT THE DOOR I WENT AGAIN, as I did the FIRST time I was there! Ugh... I guess some people don't...

If this is my opportunity to complain to the Kooks, make it to the owner, then I'll take it.

I was supposed to get a mini super quesadilla, but all I'm in case super quesadilla is is a quesadilla with meat. Nothing really super about it so I call it super. When I got three pieces, I had already eaten too and I realized there was no meat. I went back to talk to the Kooks and this is what they gave me. A pile of me on top of the last piece of quesadilla. I went back to talk to the person who took our order and he Shrugged his shoulders and said well it's the cooks fault.

Personally, I don't care whose fault it is but if nobody wanted to take initiative and make things better, then oh well here we go.
