Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Hesperia

Ouch, the food wasn't good at all, the fries were cold and the sodas had close to no flavor. I've used mouthwash that has better taste. We had to wash our hands but there are two bathrooms but only one bathroom functions becuase the other one is broken. And the only one that worked was occupied by a homeless. Also the workers "didn't" notice when we stood there and asked for assistance. I said excuse me two times before one of them noticed me. ( I was relatively loud) also we sent one of our kids to ask for something and he stood there for five minutes before they noticed him. The cashier also didn't give us what we ordered, I had asked for, I had asked for a strawberry lemonade because he said they had it. But he had to change the cup. So I got a different cup and asked for the same drink, he then told me that " we only have it for the small cups" why did they make me change my cup? I already had a small cup, they made me get a large. Also my daughter order the popcorn chicken and instead they gave her popcorn shrimp. Again they said they did have popcorn chicken. Also the restaurant smells... odd, something just...

I’m currently in a very long line at the drive-through that is being harassed by homeless while the manager walks around and ignores it. I waited in this line to order and once I ordered I was informed that they don’t have regular chicken and they don’t have mashed potatoes. Those are the only two things I came to get but now I’m trapped with about 10 cars behind me and five in front of me and I can’t get out of this line so because I’m really hungry and I’m gonna be here for a while I had no choice but to order some chicken nuggets which I’m sure I’m not going to be at all what I wanted but nuggets were their only non-spicy option. I feel sorry for the 10 to 15 cars behind me now that will have to one by one learn that half of their menu was unavailable. I don’t know why they have an employee in a Popeyes uniform walking around in the parking lot if it’s not to inform the people waiting in line that they can’t do their jobs and that they don’t have chicken at Popeyes. Regardless I’m almost to the window to pay $20 for the food I don’t want so I will...

Let's get down to it in order. It was about 8 pm on a Thursday. The drive thru was backed up and we sat in it for probably 45 minutes. We finally got to the order box and the woman could not take my order right and it was simple. #9 platter with red beans and rice and mashed potatoes and gravy with a sweet tea with light ice. I got a separate platter the same way with Cajun fries instead of mashed potatoes. When I eventually got my food there was 3 tenders in one box and 8, yes 8 pieces in the second 🤣. That was fine but some of the chicken was mostly breading. The numbers still work out for me. The biscuits were hard and dry. The potatoes were okay, the fries were dry and didn't taste fresh. The sweet tea was good.. The worst thing was the red beans and rice. I love Popeyes red beans and rice. Not this location's version. They tasted like a wet towel and yet still somehow dry. That is like a kick straight in my beans. I won't give this location another chance to make this right. ...
