CHECK WHATS REALLY IN YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU TAKE A BITE......
I used to love eating at this place until one day when I got home and my order was wrong. A SIMPLE ACCIDENT I THOUGHT. They have made little mistakes in the past and I never said a thing but this time they got the order completely wrong even after I repeated myself 3 times in the drive thru and confirmed it at the window. I immediately called the location and explained about the mix up. They offered to remake it right away. However, when I got there the lady wanted to argue stating that I was the one that ordered what I ordered and it wasn't her fault. She made a scene infront of the other employees. I wasn't there to argue and had no idea as to where all this was coming from. I was offered a free drink while they remade our food and I thought that was nice. However, I noticed an awful taste right after my first sip and was watching the employees. A man came out of the back and started sweeping behind the counter as fast as he could. He then got a dust pan and picked it up and walked over to where the cook was and dumped what was in the dustpan into a metal container. The cook, not knowing now that both my husband and I and someone else who was eating there were watching, took that metal container and poured the contents right into our burrito meat. Yup, thats right. They kept looking around at us, checking to see where we were, they thought my husband was around the corner in the bathroom and that I couldn't see from where I was standing. Wrong! The lady clearly made a mistake and took it personal. Not to mention that my drink tasted funny so I dumped it out only to find that there was a lot of some white substance in the bottom of the cup. Upon further inspection, it was soap.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU RUN FROM THIS PLACE....if by chance somehow your order accidentley gets mixed up....don't bother having them remake your food. Get your money back and NEVER enter this resturant again. I can only imagine what has happened to others in the past that made a big stink when there order was order was wrong. I chose not to argue like she wanted and this happened to my...
Read moreReally BAD customer service.
It was slow, we were the only customers inside. There was a gal (Melinda) working the register and it appeared that she may have been working the drive through as well. She was a bit impatient when we were trying to determine what to order but that part made sense if she was working two windows. What didn't make sense is when she gave us the food after we ordered (carne asada fries and quesadilla), I advised her that on all of the menu photos the quesadilla had the pico, guac and sour cream on the side. Our carne asada quesadilla was full of condiments with very little meat (see photo). I asked if it could be made in the same fashion that all of the photos show - I was advised that this is what I ordered. I let her know that I was feeding my family (including a child) and not everyone in our group likes guac. She shrugged her shoulders and told me that this is what I ordered so this is what I get. I let her know that I would be posting a Google review of my experience and she shrugged her shoulders and walked away from the counter. Wow!
The food was good but customer service experience was NOT positive. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to locals or travelers alike. Pancho Villa's is right around the corner. Try...
Read moreI've been a customer here for many years. It's a good spot to get food after hours since is open 24 hours. Tonight my wife and I went to Los Alazanes and order carne asada fries two carne asada burritos, and 3 large drinks. After we received our order, my wife asked the cashier for two bags of carrots and jalapeños. The cashier told my wife she could only get 1 bag per order and if she wanted another one it would be $1.50 extra. Not happy with the charge for something that has been free in your salad bar for many years, but I went ahead and paid the extra fee. My complaint is that I was charged $1.55, plus $0.12 cents tax, plus another $0.75 cents for using my credit card. These condiments use to be free and you could just grab what you wanted from the salad bar. I know times are difficult but don't screw your customers for extra carrots and jalapeños.
They have a sign that says they recommend you use your card because of the shortage of coins. So, for the customer is a lose, lose situation. $0.75 cents fee for using your card or no change because of the shortage of coins.
For the people that are reading this post to know how was the food. Well, I'm not going to lie. The carne asada fries and burritos...
