Cantina Grill — Restaurant in Hialeah

The staff here is very rude. The two ladies working the night shift today gave my fiancé and I attitude for simply standing in the corner looking at the menu sign and deciding amongst ourselves what we want to order. Mind you, we were the only customers in the establishment. We've only been here one time before so we were unfamiliar with the menu. The ladies were passive aggressive when you ask them a question. When we walked up to order the lady with the black hair's first words to us were "what do you want to eat." How unprofessional and RUDE! The service at this place is horrible, unwelcoming, and so disappointing.

The blond lady was eating behind the service counter with her bare hands in front of us, and the lady with the black hair was not wearing gloves when preparing food. She also had her cell phone on the counter top where food is prepared. Phones contain so much bacteria. This place is disgusting. They should train their employees on how to properly handle food in a sanitary way.

Despite them treating us so poorly I still gave them a tip because I was raised to be a good person and to always tip service workers. It's a shame they didn't treat us with the same level of respect.

Food was just okay, nothing great, we were just looking for a quick bite.

No wonder why this place is always empty....

NAME CHANGE-- Xochimex Cantina Grill, Cantina Grill, Cantina Fresh Mex Grill. 2 in on a Monday at 5PM. First time here. VERY small place in a long strip of stores. Parking could be a problem. VERY limited seating. Metal chairs at tables. Must do a lot of takeout. No printed menu. Offerings listed overhead. They really need one with pictures. Kind of cafeteria style ordering. Ladies behind a counter with an assortment of ingredients take your order and make it. ORDERED: Steak Burrito (includes chips). $11.99 $1.59 xtra for Guacamole. Good but not great. Fountain drink $1.99 Served on a tray wrapped in alum. foil in a metal pan covered with paper. Only plastic knife and fork. It would be easier to eat on a regular plate not wrapped in foil.

I had a VERY disappointing experience here due to the poor attitude of the woman making our tacos. She was completely unfriendly from the start—she didn’t smile, barely acknowledged me and my friend, and seemed like she didn’t want to be there.

my food came out stone cold. When I asked if my food could be heated up, she made a big deal out of it, arguing with me, saying she didn’t want to do it, even though it’s such a simple request. Her attitude made me feel like I was inconveniencing her for no reason. To make things worse, heating up the food somehow took longer than it did to make it in the first place!

The lack of basic friendliness and efficiency completely ruined the experience for me. A little bit of effort and hospitality would have gone a long way. there are plenty of tacos spots in the area. do yourself a favor and go to literally...
