Saddest Day of my Life.

After waiting several months of my last visit to this store I was hoping they got their act together. However, this visit turned out to be a very disappointing, insulting and bad tasteful experience.

Order was simple: 2 Pabellon Empanadas made of shredded beef, fried ripe platain and black beans. This particular empanada is a culinary state of art and difficult to find. As we start eating my wife notice the size. And commented: "Honey, this is weird these empanadas are rather big more so than the ones we eat." I said to my self oh ohh there is something fishy. After the first bite I could only taste and see beef, hoping to find the rest as I was eating. The taste of the beef was telling me: there nobody else here. So, I opened and surprise no pabellon. My wife same deal.

As a normal person you go talk to the person who took care of you (Yadali) and ask for an exchange. But, I was told there was no more because they placed the label erroneously and realized they didn't have any pabellon. Then I asked for a chicken one. And I was told that they didn't have because they had opened the door 3 minutes earlier to let as in.

At this point I am extremely upset for the merciless round around told by what I believe was the manager. In any half decent establishment you would be offered at least an apology for this situation. Not to say the price difference between items.

So here is my statement to a place I once loved, and was happy to come to. And with Level 7 Google Local Guide and 23.5 millions picture views worldwide. Do something about it. So the next person does not have to...

I try to give this place the benefit of doubt to no avail. Im giving them 1 star because there are no minus stars available.. First we get here 20 min earlier and door is locked and one of. The employees greats us rudely with hand gestures that they are closed. Ok so we go back to the car to wait because we came for the Pabellon and once we saw the 8 am is a few minutes away we start walking that way. So we place our order for 3 pabellons. Once we get our order and take a few bites it wasn't Pabellon.. So my husband gets up and goes to the counter to have them exchange it to what we ordered. He was told that the tray was labeled wrong and that they don't have any Pabellon. So when my husband asked to get something else and since I like chicken the lady told him that since they opened the door earlier for us they hadn't cooked the Pabellon. How unprofessional and how poorly handled was this transaction. And to top it off she had a nasty attitude and all if this exchange in front of other clients. Shame on them for not making an effort to try to make up for their mess up. **every time I come here there is either an issue OR and attitude... Sometimes BOTH. Never coming to this...

I do not recommend this place at all, sadly i came here with hopes of having a great experience when it came to the food and service but i was extremely disappointed in how horrendous everything was, i order a birthday cake and to be completely honest it was nothing but white cream it was DISGUSTING and the person taking care of us which was Yanis is the most unprofessional person i have ever met, her lack of knowledge is impressive as well as not being able to assume responsibility for the things she promises as well as a rude attitude that only her mother would deal with, it is sad to say that people like her are the ones that ruin good businesses and as for the baker of the cake, i don't know if this is a everyday thing but if you ever want a birthday cake with nothing but whip cream and a thin cookie then this is the place to get it. And as for me and my family, i will never comeback to this...
