Hooters — Restaurant in Hialeah

Last night, my friends and I visited Hooters to celebrate a friend's birthday. Unfortunately, our celebration was dampened by a series of disappointing experiences at this location.

First and foremost, it was a busy night in the restaurant, which likely contributed to the poor service we received. Our waitress, Vallery, while trying to be friendly, appeared visibly overwhelmed. This led to her dismissing some of our concerns rather brusquely, which was quite unfortunate.

Adding to our discontent, the food we ordered was not cooked properly. Several dishes were either undercooked or overcooked, making them less than enjoyable. The situation worsened when it came time to settle the check. We encountered several errors that needed correction, and during this tedious process, Vallery implied that we were lying about the mistakes. This insinuation was extremely disrespectful and left us feeling quite offended.

We eventually spoke with the manager, PJ, regarding our experience. PJ was friendly and seemed to genuinely understand our frustration, which we appreciated. However, despite his amicable response, the overall experience was enough to ensure that we won't be returning to this location.

In summary, what should have been a joyous celebration turned into a night of inconveniences and disrespect. The chaotic environment, improperly cooked food, and the attitude we faced were simply too much to overlook. I hope this feedback leads to improvements, but as for us, we’ll be celebrating elsewhere...

So I've been placing orders through Uber and Grubhub for months now because I'm always craving their wings and don't live nearby. In the past 3 months the app options has been out of wack. I recently had called like last week and I didnt get the girls name was very nice said I had called too late to put a note in the order. Today I placed an order again and I called immediately after first girl wasn't too helpful maybe too busy, but asked to speak to a manager since the information had changed in the past week. I spoke to Mitzy. She was very nice and very polite. She explained that they can't modify orders, that they used to be able to but they stopped that. I get it because it happens I was explaining how frustrated I am and how it has been and she listened. Didn't try to dismiss me. She said she would reach out their team that handles the delivery apps and also ended up helping me. I thanked her and we hung up. Update: received order and it's great. Adding pictures right now.

So I want to say thanks Mitzy in the only way restaurants care now... in reviews.

Also for those that have never ordered they send their deliveries nicely packed and sealed. From the apps I've seen Uber take longer and also have higher fees than Grubhub. If the wings arrive a little cold if you live far just order extra sauce and reheat in the air fryer. Super yummy. Give Hooters a shot whenever...

I don't even know where to begin with this experience.. firstly about half if not more of the place was vacant and full of waitresses yet we didn't see a waitress at our table until about nearly 15ish or more minutes after being seated by the hostess inside. Waitress was very nice however poorly trained when we finally got one... drinks took about nearly another 20 minutes to get to us yet we were seated right next to the bar. (And again not a full house) most if not all the waitresses were gillygagging and gossiping off In corners when they weren't standing by the front entrance chatting up or actually getting food and drinks, food was ummmm edible..? Ordered a grilled fish sandwich was given an enormous deep fried monstrosity that fell apart and couldn't even stomach most of it as it was superbly greasy, waitress did ask if I wanted it changed for another fish however by that point I was just over the long wait didn't wanna have to wait another 30ish minutes for what possibly could just be another wrong fish as the table beside us was also having several issues.. I just wanted to eat and be on with my night and oof do I regret it. Food terrible, drinks over priced (a shot of Baileys was more then my full cup drink) only good that came out of the experience was the slice of key lime pie at the end 👏👏 and the company I was with so do with this comment...
