Pia's Not Just Pizza — Restaurant in Hialeah

Taste like NYC pizza, the truffle fries were overpriced and only had a hint of truffle, soggy, not worth it. Don't order the Margherita.... is the same cheese pizza with basil on top... owner tried to convince me that the same cheese pizza i ordered for the girls was my Margherita, and i mean the exact same cheese pizza. I said it looks excatly the same, she went back to the kitchen and put basil on top.... took me like 5 minutes to flag a waitress since they were talking to eachother with their backs to the customers, finally got my server who was rude when I told her I wanted an actual Margherita, and I actually said it nicely. Server told me how lucky I was to even get a pizza because they have a long wait line, and others had to go home without pizza....I waited an hour because of the hype.... not worth it. Owner came back to show me how the menu read "sauce, mozzarella and basil".... same as the cheese pizza.... however, thru should just say is the same cheese pizza with a 4 upcharge for a few pieces of basil.... told me it was their version of the Margherita... Three sitting down situation is also very disorganized, which is why it takes so long to...

A “good” pasta dish out of a food truck? Unheard of, but, evidently, possible. I know it’s a pizza truck, for the most part but I read a few reviews mentioning how good the pasta was and that’s what I was craving. These ladies are cooking some delicious stuff in that little cramped kitchen. I will try the pizza next time but those buttery pancitos with queso fundido or melted mozzarella in pomodoro sauce are to die for. The cheese pull was phenomenal. The breads are tasty enough by themselves. Now that linguini bologna was a pleasant surprise. Very flavorful, cooked to perfection and generous portion. Sauce so good I was cleaning the plate with a few breads I had left from the appetizer. Washed it all down with a refreshing and tasty home made lemonade.

Service is top notch and they’re very attentive and welcoming. I’d see this truck becoming a storefront in the future if they continue to put out delicious food combined with excellent service. Gotta come back to try a few...

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience here for a casual dinner! We’d fully recommend it to anybody looking for a laid back atmosphere with good food. Budget should be around $40 per person if you get fancy with it, but you can also get away with about $25 per person. So it’s pretty good price for a quality date night.

She’d had the pasta pomodoro with burrata and said that it was great, the sauce was beautifully seasoned and the burrata was fresh. We also shared two pizzas, ghost and la clásica, they were both very good, the right amount of sauce and toppings, we enjoyed their dough which was soft in the middle and crispy on the edges.

A big plus is that all of the food is fresh and even the lemonade is natural! Lastly, our server Dariana was very friendly and offered a great service. Overall a great experience and...
