Disappointing Food Quality and Poor Management Response

This morning, I visited Taco Bell with two individuals I work with who have disabilities. We were greeted with excellent customer service, and the staff displayed great patience while taking our order, which I truly appreciated.

However, the food preparation was disappointing. I ordered nachos, a quesadilla, and three rice and bean burritos, all customized to be vegan for my New Year’s resolution. Unfortunately, all my orders was wrong missing items but not worried so much on that but my burritos were made incorrectly and included cheese. While I ate everything else, I approached the counter to address the issue only about the cheese.

As someone with a strong background in the food industry—including experience at Taco Bell—I approached the conversation with understanding. However, the manager or team leader (a Black male with a nose ring) repeatedly insisted there was no cheese on the burritos until I had to physically show him the cheese. Only then did he acknowledge the mistake. Still afterwards having smart comments to say.

I’m leaving this review because leadership training is clearly needed. Managers should know how to handle customer concerns professionally and support their team to maintain morale and service quality. Customer satisfaction and team morale are vital to any successful business, and improvements in these areas would benefit this location...

We ordered our food through the kiosk and waited over 15 minutes for our order. Come to find out the female employees were outside near the front door fighting. Screaming profanities and I saw one of them take a swing at the other. We are waiting for our food the whole time. There were other employees behind the counter but seems they were only handling the drive through. There was an older man waiting the 15 minutes at the counter to order because he didn't want to use the kiosk. Apparently that person was one of the people in the fight outside also. I'm not sure why the other employees didn't takeover. We all had to wait until the fight was over. Where was the manager? Why didn't they take charge and make sure the customers were taken care of? The soda machine had no syrup in the Pepsi or the starry, so it was just soda water. The bath room had no paper towels. When the fighting employee came back to work and made our food she put the burritos on top of our hard tacos in the bag smashing them. She did not give us our drink cups so I had to wait for some to give me them to me. Nobody asked me what I needed. I had to shout to the person working the drive through area to give me some cups. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. I work in customer service and if my employees acted this way they would of been fired. I'm visiting from Nevada and and they didn't represent NC very well. Maybe this is how...

I love the Taco Bell food, but this location is downright rude. They’ve gotten my order wrong/missed items I paid for on multiple occasions. Currently I’ve been standing at the register for 10min waiting for someone to verbally acknowledge me. My wife placed a pick up order online but didn’t see an option to order Baja blasts. I picked up our food, put it in the car and went back in to get the 4 drinks, which brings us to now. 3 employees have stared directly at me in the eyes and haven’t even bothered to ask me what I’m going to order. The least they could do is acknowledge me. I get their busy right now, but don’t look at me and then pretend I don’t exist. If they bothered to ask me, they’d know I just want 4 Baja blasts. They could easily ring that up and relish in the fact that they don’t have to add to the food they’re already making. Just hand me my cups and I’ll fill them up myself at the soda station. Literally all they have to do is hand me 4 cups and have me pay for it. But no. They just stare at me like I’m a statue with nowhere to be. I’ve got 4 hungry kids at home waiting on me to bring them their food. This is, for lack of a more explicit word, freaking ridiculous. Would not recommend this...
