Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in High Point

This place is beautiful but the service is trash. I pulled through the drive-through and start giving out my order only to be told that I have to come inside now and make my order. So originally I’m tired because I just got off of work I did not want to come inside but I wanted Popeyes so I said I’ll go inside and get my food. Upon walking in the manager or supervisor was yelling at the employees about not having own uniforms and all the things that were the number one in main complaints From Customer nerves and other management. No one greeted Me and my partner, so we ended up ordering off of the touchscreen kiosk. I ordered some regular honey, lemon pepper wings, and it turns out that instead they gave me ghost pepper wings with the honey lemon sauce on it, which I did not ask for nor order. The food was not hot or fresh. It was lukewarm and I feel like I wasted my time. For this to be a fairly new restaurant that has only been open for about a month or less. This was the worst I have experienced or been to. This made me want to go to the other establishment on West market in Greensboro Over by the Taco Bell. At least at West market although I would’ve had to wait for my food my order would have been hot, fresh and correct. I am dissatisfied with my purchase and I really would like my money back. I will be calling the store to ask for a refund. I can’t even eat these wings because the ghost pepper is too hot for my liking so now I have to find something else to eat for dinner. This is a new location with lots of competition close by, so I was shocked at how bad the chicken tasted and how nasty the drink station was. I purchased the chicken tenders. Yes I've had PP chicken many times and love the food. This was my first time in this new location. The associates were to busy among themselves to say hello, but finally the guy spoke to me. I ordered. I wanted ice tea which was nowhere to be seen. I chose lemonade instead, but the entire station was unkept, food crumbs on it and lids looked like everyone had touched them. I got my food. I tasted one of the tenders and I thought they smelled burnt although they were not burnt when I looked. I tasted one and I thought maybe it was me for some reason and chose to take them home. I get home and when I opened the box all I could spell was a terrible burnt smell. I tasted one and I could tell either the oil had not been changed in awhile or a batch of chicken had been burned really bad and they continued to use that oil. I called customer service to report it. My reason for calling is due to not only my experience there, but some friends bad experience. One friend ate there the day before. An employees young child was screaming and running in the dinning area. Then it would scream and run outside. He told me a man that appeared to me a manager there was aware of this and did nothing. The woman employee fussed at the child telling her to go sit down. This is not the way to run a business. This place was good, I don’t know what they’ve done but the service my past 3 times coming spending $30-$50 to being treated poorly, from not having customer service etiquette blaming it on having another customer at the drive thru mic to lying saying we didn’t get drinks when I did and when she brought me my drink it was wrong as they were out of my drink didn’t even consider maybe I should go back and ask what else would be okay in its place, now we got a whole $30 order being messed up ordered two chicken sandwiches plain, I was informed of them being out of chicken fillets which I was willing to let go as I agreed to either two chicken sandwiches with strips in place OR bbq boneless, got the chicken sandwiches with mayonnaise for some reason and I only realized after I got home and they were already closed, so I spent $30 to eat a large fry two small Mac n cheeses (which were dried out) and a large mash potatoes and gravy me. Which they never even asked which sides would be okay in replacement of not having the Apple pies that we ordered. So I didn’t get 2 chicken sandwich’s, 2 apple pies, a 24 piece boneless chicken during my last visit. It has been absolutely ridiculous. I will not be going back to this location again. I will drive the extra 30 minutes to go to a different Popeyes then come back here again. We’ve spent a lot of money at this location as you can see in my screenshot, it’s a shame.
