I have been shopping here for the last year and haven't encountered a problem until this past month. Few weeks ago we bought a big package of ground beef. Looked fine to buy. Having worked in a grocery store, I usually check dates but this store has been good for our family for the last year so I just go with it. We normally put meat straight into freezer but left ground beef in fridge this time. We bought it on a Saturday. By Monday, it was grey. That experience PLUS I had a very rude cashier. To the point, I took survey. Which I don't do normally do. FAST FORWARD. I hadn't been buying meat from here until this weekend because I had a time crunch. Meat once again looked good. I bought on April 14. I noticed it had SELL BY April 16. I was wary but it looked sellable. Normally meat that's about to expire will have Manager's Special on it. Go to cook it today.. the outside looks like it's fading, no biggie. Inside is turning light brown. I was hesitant to use it. But I understand it's the oxidation process blah blah blah. My point is, it would be grey by tomorrow. Just like what happened a few weeks ago. It says ground daily.. but starts turning grey within 3 days? 😷 The other meats (including the beef!) have sell by dates of longer so I'm not sure how the process goes with ground beef. Read moreI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent online order experience at your North Main Street location in High Point, NC. Today, while picking up my order, I received the wrong items. I brought this to the attention of the employee who delivered the order, specifically mentioning that Coca-Cola was not part of my order. She responded by stating, "this is the order I received," despite all the bags having my first and last name on them.
Due to having my infant with me, I was not in a position to verify every item at the store, which is precisely why I opted for online shopping. When I arrived home, I realized I had the wrong order. I attempted to call the store three times but was unable to reach anyone. Frustrated, I drove back to the store, only to find my bags dumped into plastic bags. I was greeted by a tall man with dreadlocks who mentioned he was re-shopping another customer's order.
Upon returning home, I discovered that two of my chicken pot pies were opened and the baby food pouches I had ordered were punctured. This is absolutely unacceptable. I received no apology for the inconvenience, nor was I offered a service fee refund.
