It was honestly awful. There was four of us, but two of us weren’t eating. So it was a 3 year old an adult buffet. The mother of the three year old ordered a personal for him because obviously he couldn’t himself while we were looking for seats. When we came back up there the greeter was clearly confused so we explain the situation and then he tells us that the personal pizza the mother ordered wouldn’t be done because she didn’t have a buffet and we explained it for him again that while she’s not eating she order for her son and he said that can’t do that. Then we asked for it to be put under the adult who was eating then and he said they couldn’t do that because of the mother, which made no sense. Then we just said okay and that adult that did have a buffet order a personal for themselves and he did it. We waited over half an hour for it and we asked the manager that was out at the moment about it and he told us it was canceled because the mother kept going to the bar. We explained that she was getting food for the three year old and soup for the one year old, which they knew because multiple employees were watching her. We explained the situation once again and I offered to give him our receipt. He said it was fine but then acted very weird and honestly rude while taking the order, when it was finally ready we asked for them to put it in their small box because we needed to leave (they made us late). He told us they couldn’t do that. Which isn’t true, when ever they mess up and it’s genuinely their fault and the people have to leave they put there personal in a box. I should have just gotten a refund because the personal was the only thing they...

It has remained a consistent issue here having a tough time keeping the dining area cleared, cleaned and prepped. Largely due to being a popular and inexpensive restaurant and so a large influx of customers can do its worse at mealtimes.
But as of a few years ago, I noticed the portions of food stuff, veggies, meats 🍅🥒🌶🌰🐖 and so on on the pizzas were consistently cut over a third, and chicken nearly removed from the chicken soup. Clearly a managerial move to cut corners.. What was a mainstay for me, then had become an occasional visit.
After 6 months I tried it again. There does seem to be more items on the pizzas and flatbread again. Back to their original portions.. Yay!
And the food still top notch flavour, but the dining area again seemed a challenge (oddly with only half the capacity dining as before during COVID) to keep clean, even moreso odd as they require customers to now bus their own tables. A common thread among many restaurants during the COVID period: fewer dine-in customers , less staff ( more focus on drive through and take out)= prolonged dirtier dining areas.
Pet peeve: They have never improved on their soup bowls. They went from small soup tureens 🍲 no handles, so we scald our wrists and fingers in a spill, to now 6 inch shallow soup/salad bowls (with a wide lip, yes) which now cause the soup to wash over the bowl lip. Again, scalding fingers. Just buy bowls with handles.
Working around the issues, it's back on my list as a friendly and quick, hot 'n fresh food place to dine on...
Read moreI guess I am jaded given my several good experiences at other Cici Pizza restaurants. Arrived @ 5:15 pm Tuesday. I know it is a bargain place to eat. The cashier was friendly and helpful, but I certainly didn't get the sense the rest of the staff took any pride in carrying out their jobs; it was only a job. I also didn't notice any sense of camaraderie between the staff which contributes to a welcoming atmosphere.. I understand that Cicis is not intended to be fine dining, yet the dining area just wasn't particularly clean and neat. I didn't see anyone cleaning up a table after a customer finished and left. The men's restroom was not kept clean at all. I know the option exists to request your choice of pizzas, but we were in a bit of a time crunch. In comparison with other Cici restaurants I have visited, I have to say the quality of the pizza was certainly not up to my previous experiences. Every pizza available was only of the thin style, there wasn't much variety, and despite being placed under warmers, the pizzas were only slightly warm. The desserts were decently warm, however. A cashier repair person was sitting at another table right in the middle of the restaurant, reassembling a register. If Cicis is kind of like the McDonald's of pizza, this restaurant wasn't...
