Dunkin' — Restaurant in Highland Park

I go the DD everyday and I am a perk member, but I just had my worst experience in customer service ever at this DD, I feel so disappointed. Here is what happened.

I heard that DD had new coffee flavor and decided to give it a shot. HOWEVER, The crew member ruined everything and now I don't want drink the coffee that I purchased at all. He is an Indian guy in a middle age with no smile on his face, and is very rude to me. I ordered a hot latte with cream and sugar, he Interrupted me very rudely and said "no, it has to come with milk". Taking a deep breath, I restated my order, told him that I would like to switch the milk with cream, and he said the same thing. The other crew member was trying to make my coffee as I asked, he then turned back to the girl and yalled at her saying don't make me the coffee as the way I want. I am so pissed and I had to take whatever they make to me. There is a white guy waiting behind me. At first, I thought this crew member is just rude with all the customers, HOWEVER, when the guy behind me went to order the coffee, he pulled out the biggest smile all the sudden, talking and laughing to that customer. I just can't believe my eyes. At first, I thought that this crew member was just rude to me, now I start thinking he is not only rude but also descrinimating against people.

I placed an online pickup order yesterday came to pick it up realized what I ordered did not mean whipped cream. Asked them to add whipped cream they did no issue. Today I order again but I still can’t seem to find where it says whipped cream so I clicked cold press which charges more but whatever I’ll just ask for whipped when I go in no biggie, or so I thought. I go in today and this petite frail Indian man starts going bezerk on me in front of numerous customers. The place is packed and he goes YOU DID THIS YESTERDAY! I said sorry sir I’m not sure how to order this on the app it keeps coming out this way. Sorry I’ll pay. He retorts in a condescending tone yelling in front of everyone THIS IS $.49!! YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR APP FIX YOUR APP YOU DID THIS YESTERDAY! Now I’m just sitting here baffled why he’s screaming at me over $.49 especially when I stated beforehand I would pay. He did entirely too much and attempted to embarrass me but no worries to the Jacka$$ I will never patron the highland park location EVER again. If I was white he wouldn’t have dare thought to raise his voice at me over $.49 worth...

I wish I didn’t have to write this type of review but this is the platform this type of review is needed. My children attend a daycare in highland park near this Dunkin’ and just recently they had free donut day. The owner of the daycare whom is a black woman decided to take the children to get a free donut and the individual behind the counter whom was a male of Indian descent decided that it was a good idea to be racist to a bunch of babies. His words were and I quote “you people always want something for free, you black people always want something free.” The children at this daycare are majority African American. About 99% of the babies are black, there are about two Caucasian children and two Hispanic children. Regardless of what color any of the babies are or what their race or religion is what he said was very unexceptionable.
