Park Deli W-6 — Restaurant in Highland Park

I have been coming here for 20 years, less and less as time goes on due to the forever increasing prices and the decline of quality, and today is the last time I will come here. What was historically a great spot to get a sandwich has finally hit rock bottom. I have been ordering the same sandwich for the last 20 years (including one last week). Usually the sandwich runs about 13.99 depending on who is on the register. Today they tried to charge me 17 dollars for the sandwich. When I pointed out that based on their menu prices, it was the incorrect price the lady behind the grill decided to argue with me. Even if I could put up with the dingy worn down inside, drinks that aren't cold, and the rest of the lack of care, this was the last straw. Those types have a mix of toppings like Philly cheese steak, gyro meat, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fries, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, white sauce, in a sandwich. Other options include turkey on rye, pastrami, veggie sandwiches, cheese burgers, BLTs (bacon), and breakfast items. I call the deli at 7:02 pm to find out if they have a particular item in stock. The young Indian woman told me to hold on so she can check the freezer in front of the counter. She comes back on the phone and tells me yes they have it. 5 minutes later I’m at the deli to get what I called for and nothing is there. I ask her where the item is and she tells me whatever is there is all they have. I tell her I just called 5 minutes ago and you told me you have it. She tells me to check the back, which is ridiculous because it’s NEVER kept in the back and of course it wasn’t there.
