Loved this restaurant! The food and service was great! And the owner is so kind and sweet with my son.
Since it’s our first time we tried a little bit of everything. Here’s a run down.
bbq skewers: they’re all pretty good and decently priced. Our favs were the lamb, beef, bacon enoki mushroom rolls, and bean curd skin rolls. We had the lamb and beef non spicy for my toddler son. He’s normally kind of picky, but gobbled up the skewers very quickly 😊. The bacon enoki is pretty unique since they put cilantro in there which adds extra flavor. In most places it’s served with just enoki mushrooms and bacon. We ordered themore of the beef skewers with spice this time, and it’s even better! mix pot: this was probably our fav. The sauce was absolutely delicious and the portions are great! hot pot: very yummy! The soup base was awesome! The owner recommended the “fashion soup” which is from northeastern China. This was has some sesame flavor in it which was great! spicy beef rice noodles: I’m from a region of China where rice noodles are eaten very frequently. I loved this one! The fatty beef in there is delicious and the broth is great! They can’t make it completely not spicy but my son who doesn’t tolerate spice well was really enjoying this one 😊. bean curd appetizer: this cold appetizer had great flavor
The owner told me they’ll be coming out with new dishes in March so I’ll definitely be back (probably before then) to...
Read moreIf you don’t eat cilantro, definitely tell them before putting in your orders. We love cilantro, so how they present the dishes really works for us. Rice has to be ordered separately and not complimentary, but their rice is dual grain and good quality. They have basically all Chinese favorite dishes, and the flavor is to be point. They are very small, but we were seated without waiting both times eating there. But people do call to check availability before they go. The ingredients they use are the actual types we eat in China. I recommend green beans with pork ribs, chicken with mushrooms, and both dishes...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic experience! As someone who's quite critical of Chinese restaurants, I was thoroughly impressed by this place. The food was beyond delicious. The stir fry lotus root was perfectly cooked with a delightful crunch, the beef skewers were tender and full of flavor, and the beef noodle soup was rich and comforting. The quality and authenticity of the dishes here are unmatched. This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at in NJ. I will definitely be returning—highly...
