Blendz Cafe — Restaurant in Highland Park

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Blendz, and I must say, I was blown away by their delicious and healthy options. Not only did they offer a wide variety of fruit smoothies, but their cucumber tuna sandwich was also incredible.

I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients used. The smoothies were perfectly blended, a refreshing taste without any artificial sweetness. It was evident that the focus was on promoting a healthy lifestyle. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable they provided recommendations based on our individual preferences.

Blendz posted a video of a man screaming while being strapped to a gurney with the caption "When Blendz is out of lemonade." HILARIOUS!

When people asked them to take down the disturbing video, explained why it was exploitative, and in poor taste, they instead doubled-down and said the guy was drunk/high. They find that to be an excuse to publicly ridicule and shame people in town.

They insinuated that since the guy had been destructive, that gives them some cart blanche to post gnarly videos of him and make fun of him, all to sell juice, which is readily available a million other places.

Their refusal to own up to a mistake, let alone apologize, means I will never go to this business again.

I'm a supporter of small businesses, but I cannot stand a company that makes cruel jokes at the expense of people...

What a wonderful place. I went there as a last minute school trip with my students. (First timer) The blend master Gabe was wonderful. We had a short amount of time and Gabe moved like the wind. He made all of the smoothies fresh and efficiently. He even allowed my students to play music while they waited. I truly appreciate his kindness and excellent service.
