Highland Village Whole Foods location is a beautiful store....Seafood and Meat department is top notch....I highly recommend this particular location for all home chef's and foodies.....very high quality ingredients to cook and prepare just about any dish you can think of....occasionally, a 50% off sticker will be on a particular item due to sell by date....but don't worry, there is at least 3 or 4 days left on that particular item.....items to watch for 50% discount is in house made guacamole, all hand made sandwiches and family dinners and giant salads in the deli and of course the huge deals in meat and seafood department....produce also has rockin deals as well.....salad packs, bags of broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, coleslaw mix and vegetable platters are just some of my all time favorites......Whole Foods is definitely an amazing Foodie and Home Chef experience šŸ˜‹ šŸ‘Œ šŸ˜€

I updated my review to 5-Star because, all though I didn't like the samosas Whole Food has now for the hot food bar, I still come back for them and my family love the samosas. I wish I know what brand it was so I can get more of the old samosas. The current samosas is good enough. Previous Review: I always shop at this Whole Food. Very cozy and clean. I always come here to buy my favorite samosas from the hot food section. They used to be very flaky and crispy. But this time, the samosas that I bought look very different. The wrapping is not flaky and is not crispy. It was like they were made with some kind of homemade dough like pizza dough and fried it. The samosas this time are hard thick heavy dough to bite into and not crispy at all. Very disappointed. Hope they go back to the Quality samosas again. Paying $10+ a lbs for poor quality hot food is not worth it to come here.

Whole Foods is worth the extra money. The staff, the food, the experience. The fresh bakery is outstanding. I have never had a bad experience at any Whole Foods location. If I just jinxed this, I will update you. But... the strawberries here alone are worth the trip. You don't and won't find strawberries like this at other stores. It has some things that are higher priced than what some people want to spend. This store is geared towards organic food. The store brand, 365 line is great, I have tried a lot of it and like it. Their salads and desserts have always impressed my guests. That's my two cents, go find your own.

Update almost a year later- how on earth is this location still making money?!? EVERY TIME, and I’m not exaggerating, half the shelves are empty in every section. I legitimately cannot fathom how to store stays in business when they are so inconsistently stocked. And I get that sometimes you have items coming in that you need to stock, but this is all the time. Just barely any options and barely anything that looks appealing or fresh. I get so frustrated when I go to this location because I know they’re never gonna have anything that I would normally get and it’s incredibly disappointing because the standard here is so low compared to other locations. I’ve asked about this too, and the employees have no clue what’s going on so I would love to actually hear from a manager or anyone who understands why this store is so poorly stocked.

Original review- This is probably their worst location in the metroplex. If you want anything fresh from the hot bar, you have to get there precisely at 5:30. Anything past like 7:00 and nope. Either it’s out or crusty. The prepared cold food is out of stock all the time (like zero consistency on shelves being full). It’s like you’re scraping the bare-bones of what they have. I live close to this location but have just stopped going because Sprouts is better and I’ll even drive to Central Market in Plano or Southlake over going here because it’s just that disappointing.

I also know that I’ve reviewed this location before and yet all the sudden, the reviews were wiped and there are barely any here which is odd. I made me initial review like two years ago and the store still has the same problems so it doesn’t seem like they’re doing much of anything...

It seems that my five-year relationship with this store has come to an unfortunate end. This evening, I visited the store to purchase some ham for my lunch. I arrived around 6:10 and placed my order in what was a completely empty store.

At first, I didn’t think much of the wait, but as time went on, it became clear that my order was not being prioritized. The employee who took my order seemed to be preoccupied with preparing other things that were not for customers in the store. Despite the lack of any rush or other patrons, I was made to wait for nearly ten minutes.

What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of acknowledgment or explanation. When I asked about my order, the employee brushed off my inquiry with no apology or effort to expedite the process. This made me feel completely unappreciated as a customer.

As someone who has been loyal to this store for five years, I’ve always appreciated the quality and usually great service. However, this experience was incredibly disappointing and left me questioning whether I should continue coming here.

I hope the management takes note of situations like this, as neglecting even one customer—especially in an empty store—is not how you...

I’ve been driving nearly 40 minutes every week to this store because of their amazing gluten free selection. I love all of the options available and will happily drive across the toll bridge and pay extra for high quality food, however, today I went to the store looking for blackberries. Nearly all of the blackberries out had mold on them so I saw a box with no mold and bought it, only to find mold on the inside of them when I got home. I called the store, only to be laughed at by the customer service representative when I asked if I had to come to the store for the refund. To be selling moldy produce is one thing, I could understand that, but to laugh at your customers over the phone while they’re frustrated they aren’t getting their moneys worth? Whole Foods is not a cheap store. If you want your prices to make sense then up your quality and treat your customers with...
