We ate at the Rosa's in Highland Village today at 4 PM, and we were the only people dining. I'm wondering if you don't train your workers anymore. People once greeted customers with a smile and said something like "May I take your order?" or "What can we get for you?" Today, Maria just stared at me. I smiled at her and said Hi, and she just kept staring at me. No response whatsoever and no smile!! I was a secret shopper for many different companies several years ago, so I know how customers are supposed to be greeted at a fast food or casual restaurant. Lack of even a smile at the very least makes customers think you couldn't care less that they chose to come to Rosa's that day. It's rude. I ordered my Fiesta Salad with chicken and drink and cake, then my husband ordered a big dinner and extra tamales. We got our food, and what they gave me was a Chicken Fajita Salad. Not what I ordered. I've never ordered a chicken fajita salad in the 20+ years we've been going to Rosa's in several locations across Texas. I always order Fiesta Salad because I don't like refried beans or the fried taco shell in the Fajita Chicken Salad, and I get a bigger portion of salad in Fiesta Salad. I was irritated about being rudely stared at instead of greeted or smiled at so I asked my husband not to go tell them I ordered Fiesta Salad. I was hungry and ready to eat and didn't feel like waiting for them to make me what I had ordered. We'll be hoping for a better experience the next time we visit that...

Ok I eat at this rosa’s cafe at least once every week and today when I went there the stuff just did not care about being there so I ordered and went and sat down when my number came up I went and got my food after taking it back to my table I looked down at my meal and a long black bug crawled out from under the cheese I took my plate back up to the corner and asked for a new plate due to a bug being in the food the lady grabbed the plate out of my hand and tossed it on the conter and started to make me a new plate before I could say anything she was making my order wrong and I let her know that I did not have rice but two things of beans ( due to onions being in the rice) she threw that plate aside and made me a new plate I took my plate after thanking her and went to sit my plate down I had to go up to the corner to get my drink they never gave me as i tried to get the young ladies attention and so did one of her coworkers but she was to busy flirting with one of the guys working there after about three minutes she turned to me and asked what I needed and I let her know I did not get my drink she started to fix it when another women walked up and she started to her and stopped even making my drink ( she had only gotten the cup for it ) so after helping this other woman she finally made my drink after I waited for almost ten mins I was able to go sit down to my now cold food it was gross and old ..... so after today I will not recommend this...

Whoever is working the drive through at 7:15 on 11/13 needs to find a new job. I frequent this Rosa’s multiple times a month and I’ve never received the lack of service I got from the kid working the drive through and the attitude that came with it.

When I pulled up I wasn’t greeted at all and after waiting a few minutes with multiple “Hello?” and “I’m ready to order” requests. As I nearly decided to drive off he came through rudely asking what I needed. After asking if I was able to order I heard an audible sigh. He made me repeat my order multiple times and it was only 3 things. At which point he told me to pull forward without providing a total amount.

Once I pulled up, again he didn’t say how much it was when I got to the window as he was on his phone and just extended his hand. At which point I had to clarify what I owed and what my order was. He proceeded to sit on his phone the whole time we were at the window and even when someone had placed our food behind him.

He eventually noticed and gave us our food and quickly closed the window prompting us to have to get his attention to get our receipt. This employee shouldn’t be working in a position where he was to interact with customers if he’s gonna be this rude, disrespectful and ...

My family frequency visits this location. Rosa's is my go to resturant when i f look y back into Texas from any other state. But when i ordered my Christmas family dinner to be picked up before they close, i was met with excuses as to why it was not ready. They claimed to remake the order twice. My husband waited 15 minutes before the order was ready. When we checked, it was given to us in to go containers and not the family platter we ordered. Now we have to rearrange or Christmas eve dinner to be more presentable to our guest. This so called family size fajitas cost us $150.00. I wish we didnt recommend Rosa's for our Christmas Eve dinner. I will be contacting their headquarters as the issue could not be resolved this evening.

I ordered the soft chicken taco dinner plate and was originally quite excited. I had been here once before, but it was a long time ago and I had forgotten about my experience. My soft tacos were individually wrapped, and by the time they got to me they were already getting soggy. The first taco was mediocre, wet tortillas aren't my thing. Second taco was just bad. I ended up emptying the contents of my tacos on my plate so I could eat what I could without getting grossed out by soggy tortillas. The service was bland. The salsa bar was cool. Tortillas were ok. Chicken tamales were decent, but not enough to give me a reason to go back.

I was searching for a new breakfast spot- quiet - to do some work, healthy, Wi-Fi, and iced coffee. I have hit another Flower Mound spot regularly, and it’s about $20. Forget that. I could do without the music at Rosas, and they have no Wi-Fi. My phone works fine without it. The booths are a little tight to the table but easily doable. I had a chorizo with egg bowl. It was piled high with refried beans, potatoes, and shredded cheese. I added a coffee. $6.50!!! Free refills on coffee. Ice machine. And … fresh salsa bar with maybe six or more choices. Fast service. The food was excellent. I’ll add a tortilla next time.UNREAL. Do it.
