Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Highland

This place almost always gets your order wrong. I once ordered chips and cheese and they didn't cook the nachos long enough that they were dripping in oil, weren't hard (flimsy), and had the texture of cartilage. Every time there's a long wait and they don't have a good portion of what we order. The drive thru is constructed in a way where you can't escape if a crazy lady (who clearly is upset her order is never right) decides to boycott and not leave, trapping everyone in line. We were there for 40 minutes until the cops were called and instead of remaking our order, they gave us cold food and, yes, it was missing something. I've never had such a consistently bad experience as I do with this place. Be prepared to wait in a long line, for cold food, missing items, little food (sometimes they fill the chip bags half full), or poorly packaged food (we had a Mexican pizza stuck to the box bececause they put the pizza top (melted cheese) side down first so you have half the cheese stuck to the container and unable to scrape back into your plate or mouth. This place goes leeps and bounds to make your order wrong and your experience unbearable. Never seen such a consistently bad take out place in my life. Nor have been held hostage at one...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They close the KFC side at least an hour before their hours say they close and have done this for months with no signage or change of status on the website or Google.. This is the only location that does this. Last week, I was told they no longer carry Diablo sauce, but my husband has gotten it at multiple other locations since then. My order is usually wrong. Burritos and tacos have hardly any meat in them. My order last week was cold, wrong, and the chili cheese burritos were disgusting. We eat out a lot at night because of the nature of my job, and there is NEVER a grown adult present when we visit. The girl at the window last week was taking the trash out and then filling drinks without washing her hands in between. I tried to call and complain about all of this, but it said the mailbox is full. I'm not surprised; I'm sure it's full of complaints just like mine. First of all sometimes Taco Bell in Highland IL gets everything correct and food is good However sometimes it’s not. I just went through drive through because lobby is closed. I ordered 6 crunchy tacos and 6 soft tacos. The soft tacos are ok but, the hard tacos taste stale or old shells were hard and not edible. I called Taco Bell to let them know, The man that answered the phone said he was the manager He did not give me his name. I told him our tacos were stale or maybe old I then said you might want to look at them he said”they are not stale we just opened them” then I heard loud music and the man did not come back to phone he hung up. I tried calling back but there was no answer. When I drove through the drive through originally it sounded like they (Taco Bell employees) were having a party loud music was playing.
