On The Evening Of Friday October 24. 2020, I was Eager To Surprise 2 Of My Close And Hard Working Family Members With A Delightful A Fresh Tasting, Well Prepared, Well Seasoned, And Prayerfully, A Really Good For-Real, Home Cooked Tasting, And, Recognizable "Soul" Food Style Dinner Dishes, That They Didn't Have The Task Of Having To Prepare. However, staying in an Absolutely positive frame of mind, Due to My Utter Surprise, delightfulness, and The Feeling Of Appreciation I Experienced with The 3 fish dinners and 2 desserts I Very Hastily Ordered On-Line, For A Delivery to my home, ASAP, Using A Grub Hub APP That I had not used for several months, But, was Successful, At least In Finally Completing The Placement of The Overall Order, In spite Of A Couple of "Glitches" I ran into that I was Allowing To "Work" my Nerves as I was Growing frustrated Trying hardest to Locate Menu Items That I Had Viewed In Pictures In The Resturants Menu But Had Difficulty Actually Finding On Its Menu(s). However, Ultimately Whatever Difficulty I had Completing My Delivery Order Turned out to be Ok; Or, Worth The Cost of Both The Bit Of Trouble I had Locating and/or Entering or deleting some unwanted Menu items; As I Watched How 2 Of my Very Hard Working Family Members' Faces Lit Up With Surprise, Delight, MUCH Aporeciation; As They Each Muched, Crunched, Were Making "Umm, Umm," Sounds As They Uttered No Other Sounds; Except for the few Compliments They Made; Like Ohh, Umm This Fish Is Different. IT TASTE Good, it's got A Spicy like taste And Melted Cheese, On It. "Umm These Yams are a little Bit Too Sweet. BUT they Are Soft And done all the way through. "Wow, These Cabbage Not All half done and hard. They are Fully Cooked, Soft. And I think They Must Be Fried! They Ate everything on their plates...And, Then Ended Up Dozing Off To Sleep In front of the television; And Waking Up Just Before The 10:00 PM News Came On! And, They Jumped up Heading In The Direction Of...

Shouts out to the sweet African lady that helped me with my order. She's the lone bright spot in an otherwise miserable experience. I walked into the place and immediately noticed it was uncomfortably warm in there, I looked into the pathetically stocked refrigerators across the room, I looked up to see two dead flat screens hanging over the counter and the prominent "no refunds sign" and knew I was going to be disappointed. I can appreciate they're using a kiosk to take orders but half the pictures didn't work so you couldn't see what you were looking to order, I scanned the QR code to see the menu and was greeted with an website that had an outdated menu that ALSO didn't have any pictures, what it did have was a typo in the name of the restaurant. That lack of care extended past a neglected website, and through the entire restaurant. Speaking of the name of the restaurant it's Southern Peach "BBQ" and Soul Food, but they don't serve barbecue! Which is what I originally went in looking for. Instead I ordered a loaded baked potato and some collard greens and sat in the one sad folding chair that they had sitting there. I didn't wait terribly long to get my food. The greens were heavily seasoned, too salty for me but I wouldn't say they were bad. The loaded potato was okay. Despite the signs and the bad reviews I really wanted to support this restaurant. Many of my issues could be resolved if the management put an ounce of care into the place and paid any attention whatsoever to the customer experience. I gave service 2 stars because the lady that helped me was really sweet, otherwise I'd give Southern Peach BBQ and Soul Food a 0 if I could. Would only return if I heard it was under new management. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! The most unprofessional place I've ever been to. First I came here for basic stuff bbq ribs and chicken and Mac and cheese. And on a Sunday didn't have either so I settled for the loaded baked potato. I was told it would be 25mins, it took 50 mins for me to get my food after I watched it sit out with NO TOP for like 10 mins. There was no consisten presence at the counter. The girl taking orders was ratchet and unprofessional as ever. Told me my food was ready after I seen it sitting out topless for 10 mins but then she go outside to handle something personal and came back in for fix my drinks no gloves didn't wash her hands didn't even say hello when I walked in or have a good day when I left. She just put my food on the counter and walked away. I really wanted to give this place a shot but will NEVER come back because of the service. Ate my baked potato luke warm it just look disgusting after sitting out. The kool-aid was good though. I make it my business to buy black and support black businesses but you gotta be able to do the basics and this place failed. To top it off I gave them $40 for my food. I really felt like askn for my money back but knew it would be a problem so I just chalked it up as a loss....
