I ordered curry goat which I found was very dry, rice was spicy and also dry. Plantain was just OK but that macaroni and cheese was heaven. They were short staffed and out of sides. This reflected in service although the cashier was polite it seems she had trouble putting in orders as requested. When we arrived there was a man putting in his order, he said one thing she says another. He repeated it, she repeat another finally they got it right. While taking my order there was some confusion. I asked for Coco bread three times she informed me that I needed another hot side which there were a few to pick from so I ordered double rice and peas and Coco bread. I didn’t get the coco bread and had to order separately and it tasted day old. While taking my order a young lady came in to get her order she asked if the shrimp was put on the side. The cashier replied no I didn’t tell them I was so busy. The customer reply we ordered online and pacifically asked that the shrimp be placed on the side because he is allergic. The cashier continue to place the food in the bag and told her it would take 20 minutes do you want them to fix it over. The young lady replied yes because he is allergic to shrimp. Well they did honor the young ladies request to redo the meal but the customer was very frustrated that now her meal is taking an hour plus to be prepared right. Not sure if I will try again, this just could have been a bad...

The service here has gone to the dogs and it starts with the front facing staff. The oxtail you can obviously see and taste there’s a new chef and know nothing about Jamaican cooking. Not to mention the new practice where the “good is suffering for the bad”. There’s a new policy where if you call in a to place a pickup order. They will only accept the order if you prepay by giving them your card info. In these times that’s not a good practice. While I understand the establishment has come across a few band apples you should still aim to offer GREAT SERVICE and convenience to your customers. Knowing well your wait time from day one has always been excruciating long. Your online service only offer delivery and the delivery partner options.

I now suggest the JERK PIT in college park for the best JERK food and oxtail. The Jerk Pit has perfected the authentic taste and kept the convenience of their customers in mind!

If you do have the patients and tolerance for this type of service I recommend the curry chicken...

I ordered curry chicken with white rice and they gave me curry chicken with rice and peas( this is the second time this has happened btw). I definitely should have checked my food before I left.

Anyway, I called up there and explained my issue. A young lady was kind and asked if I wanted to come back and get a new plate, cool no problem.

I get my new plate and get home, the food was not good. My curry chicken had no flavor or any gravy on the rice or chicken. As a matter of fact, it looked like the chicken wasn’t even cooked in the curry sauce. It looked like pan seared chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. I have never been able to see the actual seasoning on the curry chicken because it would be sauced up.

In the past the food here was good, but I don’t know if the cooks have changed, the quality of the products have changed or if it was just a bad day.
