This is a delightful little bakery with outstanding service! I could hang out all day just smelling the aroma of fresh bread. I had a call ahead order that was easy to place. Gluten exclusion items are available on Thursdays so calling 48 hours in a advance is highly recommended. You can order several loaves and freeze them if necessary to keep yourself stocked up for the week. You can also request that they slice it up for you. I ordered some gluten exclusion items including a loaf of whole grain, a loaf of cinnamon chip, and a cinnamon roll. It was all delicious. It is not a dedicated gliten free bakery, but it is worth mentioning that several of my family members have food allergies/celiac and they all ate it with no reaction. Unlike store bought gluten free bread that is hard and the size of a large crouton, Great Harvest bread is soft and a perfect size. It makes a fantastic sandwich or French toast. I eat lunch at Great Harvest at least once every week. The first time I went in I was apprehensive because I am vegan and they are not marketed"vegan friendly." They were very helpful and friendly when I asked about their vegan options. While I do wish there were more options, the veggie sandwich is delicious thanks to the yummy bread they offer combined with your choice of veggies (you get to choose which bread and can add hummus and avocado).

My favorite part of this place is the staff. Rosemary is lovely and always has a smile on her face. I told her a few weeks back about a job interview and was surprised when I walked in a few days ago and she was immediately curious as to how it went.

Sandwiches are OK, very basic, no warm sandwiches here. But that’s not the biggest issue I have. I just went to place a lunch order and I did not like seeing that all the customers are not treated equally. The woman behind the counter who was taking orders and serving the complementary bread samples did not greet me in such a way that made me feel welcome here. She simply took my order form that I had filled out and said “will that be all.” So to my astonishment I was surprised to see that the people before and after me in line were welcomed in with enthusiasm and offered complimentary bread samples with detailed descriptions on each bread type.
