El Chino Taqueria y Mariscos — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I don't even want to rate this place. I've been there before because the breakfast burritos are good, but I went there the other day and got 2 breakfast burritos both with sour cream and one bacon and the other bacon with asada. They charged me for sour cream but didn't even get it on my burritos. I also decided to go in there and eat inside for once, I got nachos and one of the guys grabbed my nachos with his bare hands and looked at me to make sure I wasn't watching. I didn't even eat it, the staff there hardly even speaks to me when I order, and I never see anyone their washing their hands or even wearing gloves. I see the cashier go back and forth to help out in the back from exchanging cash and taking meat and other food with her bare hands as well. This place disgust me, I always thought the food was good until I went in there and watch them make my food. Never again. There needs to be someone who can manage with restrraunt better. Hands down the best seafood in the portland area. We visited for the first time a couple weeks ago and couldn’t wait to come back!

The service was great, our server both visits was Kalil and he was very attentive and continued coming back to check on us. On Sunday there were multiple celebrations and they would come around to the tables to sing to the person and also they have a little bull they bring around for people to dance and whoever participates receives a shot.

We tried the molcajete, “cucaracha” shrimp, mejillones, camarones a la diabla, piña cantamara, tacos, and everything was delicious.

The food here is great! But this time it was horrible customer service, I called to placed my order and I paid with my debit card so they could have my order ready when I arrived. Well when I got there it had already passed 20minutes the guy said we are just waiting for your tacos! Another 15 min went by and I asked him again for my order, he said again we are just waiting for the tacos.. by them way other people were waiting desperately asking for their order.
