Disappointing Experience.I had high hopes , given its reputation, but my recent visit left me thoroughly disappointed. From the service to the food, almost nothing met the mark.First, the service was extremely slow. It took nearly 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The staff seemed disorganized, and we had to remind them twice about our order.As for the seafood, it was shockingly bad. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, lacking any real flavor. They not only screwed up my order, and did nothing to make it right the shrimp tasted off, almost as if they weren't fresh which was bland and a bada taste almost as if they were rotten and For the high price, I expected something much more flavorful.The atmosphere didn’t help either.Overall, it was a waste of money and time. I would not recommend [las islitas Hillsboro ] to anyone looking for quality seafood. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. When we got there and walked inside, there was no one to greet us or sit us at a table. We had to hunt someone down given that it’s very hard to tell who works there. There were tables to sit at but all of them were dirty and there was kids running around wild it almost felt like we had walked into a personal party. After finally getting a table it took the gal over 30 minutes to get our drink order. We called over a waiter and he took our orders. We finished our drinks and what we could pick at the dry hard chips they gave us. We got our food after waiting a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Only to have the food be terrible. It was dry, cold, and flavorless. We sent the ceviche back that my husband had ordered. It was super salty and right then and there he ended up not eating at all. The staff is very distracted and they go sit at the bar and talk to the male customers every chance they get. They never once came back to check on our food. We had to flag someone down every time. This place has potential but right now you walk in and it’s a damn circus. It’s filthy and service is awful! I will not be coming back here again. We spent $120 on absolute trash. Go at...

First time customer never returning to this place. Worst decision ever to eat here!! 1st waitress that took our drink and food order would stand at the bar staring at us, chips were way over cooked pretty much burnt, at first thought that’s just the way they served the chips, nope as soon as other customers came in their chips where normal not so brown and dark. Ordered iced water and the glass was dirty one side of the glass had some kind of white residue on it, very disgusting, and it was room temp, no ice! Didn’t want to complain, got a vibe that they probably would do something to our food if we said something. My son ordered the mojarra frita dish the fish was extremely salty! Ordered the grilled shrimp with rice and salad, the shrimp was ok a little dry but the rice and cucumbers tasted like the smell of cleaning products, hubby ordered oysters dish, it was ok no issues. 2nd waitress seemed nice, she did mentioned they have their regulars and never seen us before, thought that was odd. I’ll never go back, food was gross for the price. If you’re not a regular don’t go here, go somewhere else.
