Let me tell you the story of the worst fast food experience of my life: It was 1:07. My boyfriend and I walk in to place an order for takeout for my family. I'm excited because in his hometown his Wendy's sucks so I was glad to show him how good their food was. Mama, we got a big storm coming We place the order at the kiosk and get our receipt. 1:09. We sit down to wait for our order in around the middle of the restaurant. We can see into the kitchen because it's right there. The stressed out woman (who I can only assume is the manager but I'm not certain) behind the counter is yelling at the teenagers in the kitchen for talking when they obviously need to be working to get the drive through orders done. (In all fairness I understand the frustration but be so real the whole restaurant can hear. Time and place.) We were so uncomfortable. Time passes. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. I am generally very very very understanding of food service workers and thought maybe because we got 5 meals it would take a little longer. I was foolish. When the people who were behind us in line got there food I got up to wait behind the counter. It was 1:39. 30 minutes. I waited at the counter for maybe around 5 minutes before the stressed out manager woman asks what I'm waiting for. I tell her my name. She looks into the computer. They never got the order in. I gave her my receipt and she begins packing up my order. Maybe another 10 minutes goes by. Our stomachs are growling with the ferocity of at least 3 lions. She says "this is everything". We see our drinks and frosty aren't there. She finds them on the side. We take our food and leave. But this is NOT the end. Oh no. When we get home and start unpacking our food we see that they didn't give us ANY of our burgers. Like literally none. It was 2 bags of fries and nuggets. I'm fuming so we drive back. I am still nice and even though I'm peeved I'm smiling and the stressed out woman looks at me again "what are you waiting for". I kindly tell her we still need our burgers and she goes further into the kitchen, from there, she shouts at me to remind her of our orders. I then have to shout to her our order, and she interrupts me to tell them, then forgets again, and then I need to tell her again. Now, my boyfriend doesn't like sauce or pickles. So i made sure to shout PLAIN for his burger. I heard her repeat it to the cooks. We get our food and leave at 2:09. Exactly 1 hour after originally placing our order. Our stomachs are eating themselves. We finally get home again, reheat our cold fries and nuggets in the microwave. My boyfriend unwraps his burger. There, on the bun, mustard ketchup and mayo smeared thick topped with two pickles. He ate it without buns. My boyfriend now has glazed over eyes and the disappointment is palpable. I feel like I've failed him. He's officially sworn off Wendy's for the rest of his life. Our children will not know the joys of Dave's cream soda, frostys and a fresh tasting fast...
Read moreSomething has happened at the Wendy's in Souderton, PA. This evening, Saturday, June 1, 2019 we had a horrible experience dining there. We ate inside and the service was pitiful to say the least. We've eaten there often over the last couple of years and things were very good, so something has changed dramatically.
At 7:01PM Steven took our order, my wife chose a salad & drink, and I ordered their grilled chicken meal, which includes fries & drink. After waiting 10 minutes, my wife's salad was put on the tray. Then we waited for another 10 minutes and Steven, yes the same guy who took our order, said it would be another 10 minutes or so before the grilled chicken sandwich would be available. In the meantime, he put my fries on the tray. After 5 minutes I told him to remove the fries as they we cooling down.
Meanwhile the store manager, Kianna, was yelling at the crew barking out demands. Then a couple minutes later we saw her go outside for a cigarette, and watched her talking on her cell phone. In the meantime, most of the staff was working very hard trying to meet all the orders. He drive thru was fairly long, and inside many people, including myself, were waiting for their orders. Then another employee went outside for a smoke.
Steven was very polite and said he was sorry my sandwich was taking so long. He thought it might be another 20 minutes. At this point others around me we laughing at all the commotion happening behind the counter where the staff seems unorganized and struggling to keep up.
So after waiting 51 minutes from the time we ordered, my grilled chicken sandwich finally arrived. The sandwich was hot & the fries were warm. While eating we noticed the store manager go outside for another cigarette and watched her yapping on her cell.
All being said, something has changed at this Wendy’s, so I’d head over to McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway, or another fast food place, which are all within a...
Read morei would give zero stars if i could. they straight up were all just sitting in the parking lot at 6pm, the dinner rush. they just watched as we and other customers drove by confused, no signs, no nothing. they were just partying it up in the parking lot. i’m all about giving fair reviews seeing as to how i work in the food industry as well, so i think this is fair. we literally had to leave and not get anything because they decided to just party instead of do their job. idk if the owner of the store knows about this but they should if not, this definitely shouldn’t be condoned. this is completely inappropriate behavior.
edit: i’ve had my doordash orders stolen from this location multiple times, which may or may not be out of their control. however, i’ve gotten cold food, missing utensils like spoons for frosty/straws for soda, missing sauces, missing ingredients on sandwiches that i ordered like no bacon on a bacon double stack. bruh, it literally says bacon is part of it, how do you even forget that 🤦🏼♀️
let me just say, i genuinely love wendy’s, and i think it def depends on the store, but this store ain’t it chief. i mean, just DO better. i get it’s not a great paying job but it’s a job nonetheless. people just wanna get their pay checks and go home. as someone who works in the food industry myself, i find this unacceptable. high quality service is key, no matter the establishment, and clearly that’s not represented by this store. i’m highly disappointed and don’t think i’ll be ordering here for a long time. hopefully they improve after awhile, and i can order...
