High Quality Ingredients, Good Flavor & Solid Service. I am rather picky with my pizza and I prefer a fully New York style pie, but this pizza was still very delicious and the ingredients were high quality with a nice flavor. I rate all pizza places based on the quality of their cheese pizza, since this is the foundation for any pizza in my personal opinion. The sauce had quality ingredients and was well seasoned. The flavor of the sauce was a bit different than I'm used to along with the cheese, but it was still good. There wasn't as much sauce as a traditional NYC style pizza, but it was still flavorful. The crust was semi-thin, but wasn't as thin as a standard NY Style pizza, which you can see from the photos I took. If I we reviewing their specialty pie, I would imagine my review would only increase since I would hope the quality of ingredients would remain consistent. I also order a fully loaded Philly Cheese steak.I always reduce my expectations with a Philly Cheese steak when not in Pennsylvania, so this review is based on those reduced criteria. The steak was well-seasoned and not too chewy or fatty. The cheese and seasoning blend was well done along with the other seasonings. One of the most important parts of the cheese steak, the hoagie bun, was surprisingly good. It had the right bread to steak ratio and the bread was slightly crunchy on the outside while softer in the center. The bread also had a good taste by itself, which is another important factor in my mind, since it then enhances the quality of the sandwich and other ingredients. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant for both a cheese pizza or Philly Cheese steak, especially since it's been rather difficult to find a quality Cheese Steak or pizza on the island.

We visited the Hilton Head location of this local favorite on a Sunday afternoon (around 3pm) in mid December. I expected the place to be really busy, but we were able to get seated in a booth right away. The menu has plenty of options; we chose their award winning pizza and buffalo wings. And everything we ordered was delicious! The pizza had a hint of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust that added just the right amount of crispness! The wings were flavorful without being overly spicy. The food was so good that we had nothing left for a to-go bag! The atmosphere is fun with a sports bar feel meets family friendly vibe. The decor displays major love for all things Pittsburg! There’s indoor seating in booths or at the bar, as well as outdoor patio seating. Both indoors and outdoors are equipped with televisions, so you won’t miss the game either way! For us, Giuseppe’s was a cool spot with great food, and it felt like a little piece of the Northeast dropped in the heart of the South.

I really wanted to love this place because I’m from Pittsburgh, but I was really disappointed. Our family of 5 was seated quickly. Our server came by and got our drink order. My husband ordered a margarita that tasted like bottled margarita mix. We ordered the mozzarella stick appetizer, and I ordered a cup of wedding soup. The wedding soup looked and tasted like canned wedding soup. I just couldn’t eat it. The mozzarella sticks were ok-tasted like boxed mozzarella sticks. We ordered two medium pizzas. They were good. We realized that there wouldn’t be enough pizza for all of us, so we ordered another medium cheese pizza. One of the food runners brought us a large cheese. When we told him that we ordered a medium, he told us that it was a medium. I pointed to the pans and said that can’t be-this pizza might be for another table. Then he said that we were given a large with no up charge. We had to wait long for our waitress to refill our drinks. It seemed like she was covering too many tables. We asked for the check, and she told us that she didn’t even know that we got our other pizza. This hi lights issues at this restaurant. We would have been waiting a very long time for that pizza and she didn’t even check to see what was taking so long. So strange. The first two pizzas were nice and crispy. The last pizza that came out wasn’t cooked for long enough-it was doughy and a completely different texture than the others. It was weird to have such different experiences with the same dishes during one visit.

Food was great! However, they lost any future business from me simply because the bartender was extremely rude and condescending. Add to that the mixed drinks are way over priced. We had about a 40 minute wait to get a table so my wife and I figured we would get a drink while we waited. I went in to order us a drink, my wife just wanting something "fruity". Well, neither of us drink hardly at all and I had no idea what drinks might meet her criteria so I asked the bartender, figuring who better to know the contents of a drink. Well, he was very put off and obviously annoyed with my question and in a rather rude tone replied that a lot of them are, slapped the menu in front of me and walked away. Well, I obviously elected that given the extremely low level of service I was not going to trust that the highly over priced drinks would be well made so I didn't order anything and decided to rejoin my family. Had it not been late and my family hungry we most likely would have looked for somewhere else to eat. We most assuredly will not be returning to this restaurant and will not be recommending them. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the food was very good.

"We stopped for lunch at Giuseppe's in Shelter Cove, Hilton Head, on the recommendation of a past client, and it did not disappoint! As Italians who love pizza, we were curious about the sauce and crust—and both were fantastic. The pizza was thin and perfectly cooked, just the way we like it. Since we're both lactose intolerant, we requested light cheese, and they accommodated us without any issues. The service was phenomenal, and my sweet tea was spot-on. The atmosphere is laid-back and bar-like, with TVs playing sports—perfect for a casual meal. You can choose to dine inside or outside, but we opted for the cool indoor seating due to the thick humidity that day. Overall, it was a great lunch experience, and we’ll definitely be back!"

What a pleasant surprise! I am very picky when it comes to pizza and have what I believe is a high standard Giuseppe's met it. I asked for it crispy and it came out perfect no flock I also asked for light cheese as I don't like too much cheese everything was just right The crust is nice and chewy very crisp. The wedge salad was very good Nice and crisp and a good size. My wife's spaghetti and meat sauce was mediocre. The fettuccine with chicken was very good I was told the chicken was exceptional. The children's pasta dishes are very large and the pricing is very good and the service was outstanding. This is a very busy restaurant. The manager came around and checked on us and whoever's training staff is doing a great job.
