Starbucks — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

The young man working this store was the only employee there. He said he was in training and the woman training him called out today. He was alone and admitted he would have to text his manager if the order was something he didn’t know how to make.

He attempted to make a double chocolate java chip frapp. It was horrible. It seemed to have no sweetener in it. He couldn’t make the strawberry frapp and was “trying to figure out how to make it”. I finally asked him to tell me what he knew how to make and was given a caramel frapp.

He had several customers waiting.

The seating area had a spill on the floor that had completely dried. It looked like a whole cup of coffee size spill.

The manager should’ve come in to help his young man or elected to close the store. While the trainee was doing his best he was unable to do his job.

Literally the worst service I have ever received. The baristas were Shelby and Sarah. The customer service sucked. The proceed to joke and talk while there was a line of about 7 to 8 people who had not ordered yet. 4 walked away as they proceeded to talk to and individual not ordering. After about 10 mins one of them began working as the other cackled around like a school girl. It took 15 mins for me to get coffee bc the other Barista decided she wasn't going to help. The guys who ordered in front of me were still waiting when I left.

Starbucks? Hardly. I drink Starbucks daily at home, and on the road. This was by far the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. So bad that by the 4th day of vacation I bought a Keurig and decided to make it at the condo instead. Service is horrific. No customer service. No smiles. I literally waited for 10 minutes for my coffee with one person ahead of me because the barista was blatantly ignoring us and texting on his phone instead of doing his job. Another time they had no espresso so couldn't make an americano. How can you be an operating Starbucks without espresso. Disappointing to...
